Easy to use
The book is very easy to use and it is so helpful! It has helped me learn how to write Hangul and has helped me better learn the letters. I love that they encourage you to make copies of the pages to practice more, but I’ve been just using a sheet of paper. I do wish it had a page after learning all characters where is shows the stroke order. Sometimes I forget and have to flip through the pages to go back and find it. But otherwise great buy!!

It shows you the directions or the arrows on how to draw the letters. You can also make flashcards.
And having a lot of fun with this book. I have not used it much. Please read the first two pages so that you understand a little bit about the language and how they say there's no need to memorize please this is just tools to help you get to know the language. You can make copies but I just use a notebook because it's just like writing and learning your ABCs. I do draw a block to writing. I'm sure that's just for beginners. I have not made flashcards or anything. I have not gotten that far in the book to learn it yet. I am just drawing the letters or characters I'm trying to learn to put them together.

Does a good job.
It teaches you how to accurately read the words using English word examples, with no regard to the awful official pronunciations made by some native Korean speakers. It'll give you hints, like "This alphabet is pronounced G as in Gun." Which is crucial for self-study. This book gives you a reasonable amount of practice, and some word practice at the end too. Also combines vowels and constants together as well so you can get used to seeing them and practice writing briefly on those too. They designed the pages so you can copy them and not buy the book again, but the book is reasonably priced to where I recommend buying 2-3 copies of this book. This is a great supplement for verbal lessons especially if you are studying without a teacher and using something like You tube. I recommend this book a lot.

Excellent for new learners!
This workbook has been so helpful and engaging! In conjunction with using Duolingo, I've purchased this book to help myself become more familiar with Hangul. There are 142 pages filled with progressively more challenging practices. I don't feel overwhelmed because of the organized format. Highly recommend this book (also a great price)!!
