Great for use in cardmaking
Doesn't damage paper even when run through the die cut machined I utilize this product for cardmaking projects. It is not meant for permanent adhesion so it releases from the paper easily. The tape is VERY thick

Expensive, but love it
I use this tape on paper, from copy paper to fine art paper. It holds well, but removes without any issue at all. I've always used drafting tape in the past for my art projects but sometimes it would slightly damage the paper upon removal. This never does. The problem is it's quite expensive relative to other products. The only thing that helps defray costs is that I can use the pieces quite a few times before they're no longer sticky.

Works as advertised
Loved this low tack tape! I used it to hold dies in place for running through the die cutter. I also used it for holding stencils secure when ink blending. It did a superior job on both. It’s low tack, but holds things in place, is not sticky, and one piece can be used several times. I highly recommend this tape!

Works Well for Some Specialized Applications Requiring Low Tack Tape
This is one of those products that probably should just be tried. I bought it for less than $4 as an Add On item. It works perfectly for what I wanted, but I mostly wanted to use it for masking and holding lightweight paper in place on a light box.-It is not as sticky as painters tape or masking tape.-It is thicker and more rigid than most tapes. I can lay it down and use it as a hard edge to draw very straight lines.-I've laid it down over ink drawings and dried watercolors and not had any damage to the paper, ink or paint. The only thing I see on the back of the tape is lint and stray cat hairs.-I haven't seen or felt any residue on the paper when tape is removed. I've never left it on for more than a day or two, so that could change with time. I don't know.-The tape is 3/4-in wide. It's easy to cut for smaller width or to form shapes for masking.I would not use this for anything requiring much strength.I would recommend trying some of this tape on a test swatch if concerned about removing medium.

Not good for watercolor paper
I got this tape so that I would not tear in my watercolor paper when taking it to a board, but the tape lifted off the paper as soon as I put it down and did not stay on during the painting process

Too low tack
If you want low tack this is it. I wanted something to hold my dies to paper while cutting but it’s a bit too low tack and stay put as I would like. Will go back to purple craft tape

Best masking tape ever
After trying so many ‘sensitive’ / ‘low tack’ masking tapes (for decorating) that peel paint off and are barely any different from masking tape that doesn’t say that, I have found one that comes off beautifully. Actual low tack. And ironically it’s not even called masking tape. Yes it’s three times the price but if you want a good job done and no ‘touching up’ here there and everywhere, I’d say it’s worth it.

A must-have for every artist!
I was extremely skeptical that this tape would have any stick whatsoever. But I'm SO glad I tried it anyway. I'm a commission artist and I use tape ALL the time: On papers of all varieties, thicknesses and finishes, on canvas and canvas paper, envelopes, etc. I have tried many, many different types of tape and either the tape isn't strong enough to hold anything, or it tears the top layer of the paper when I try to remove it -- not acceptable for client pieces. I have tried this Low Tack Artist Tape on nearly every surface I regularly work on and it's everything it claims to be!I'm very impressed with how many times I can reuse a piece of the tape too. I worked for 3 days using the same four small squares of tape, sticking them down, pulling them up, switching paper, etc., and it's STILL sticky enough to hold.I only have two complaints about this product: 1) The tape is not flexible. I often like to tape my paper template to my canvas, and leave it attached while I'm painting so I can easily and quickly flip the paper back down and retrace fine details if necessary. That means the tape is adhered to the front of the template and the back of the canvas, right over the top edge. But this tape is basically backed with cardboard, it's thick, so while it works great on flat surfaces, you can't really use it to "hinge" anything. Which really limits its uses.2) The cutting teeth on the dispenser are made of plastic, not metal, and since the tape is so "thick" with the aforementioned cardboard backing, it's difficult to tear pieces off. You can't just hold the dispenser in one hand and tear off a piece of tape with the other. You need an extra finger to push down on the tape directly over the cutting edge. It's just inconvenient and a bit annoying. While this product won't entirely take the place of the other tapes I use, it's definitely a welcome addition to my studio tools. I will be using this for every new project for sure!
