We frequently host playdates at our house with my friends and their small children, so my daughter's toys get a good sampling of different ages playing with them. Of the many toys we have, these balls are the ones that children of all ages (birth to age 7 is the range we've had at one time) seem to enjoy playing with. The tiny crawling babies love chasing them and chewing on them, my toddler loves to hold them all and carry around in a basket, we roll them on her feet and tummy and she giggles uncontrollably, and the older kids love to roll and toss them around. They are soft enough not to hurt furniture, walls, or people if bumped into. Each ball was a little smaller than I expected, about the size of a softball. But it really is a perfect size for little hands. The spiky soft texture helps to grip them, so even a clumsy person like me can catch it easily! I love the vibrant colors, great way to introduce colors to my daughter. Absolutely perfect, fun, and educational. And a big plus for parents-- no blinking, beeping, or electronic annoyingness to deal with!

We bought these for our nine month old and she really seems to like these. The nubs make it easy for her to pick them up with one hand. They are also nice and soft so they'll bounce. I think she'll have quite a bit of fun with these even as she gets older._____________________Update as of 23 June 2019:So I just wanted to add that my daughter still loves playing with these colorful balls. The texture makes them easy to catch and throw, and the size isn't overwhelming for her 3-1/2 year old hands. Periodically, they've lost some air, but the standard sports ball type valve they have means it's easy to fill them up with a typical needle. They'll last years longer, I suspect.

At 2 months, baby was drawn to red and blue ball. It was too wide for her to grip for long at that age. Regardless, when this toy was offered with other toys, it was preferred.At 3 months, her grip improved, she held ball and brought her head to toy to rub lips and gums on. All colors were liked, but red was favorite. She watched the toy roll away, would cry for its' return.At 4 months, she firmly holds ball, enjoys finger flicking the pointed nubbins. She brings the ball to her mouth, it gets drooled all over.Balls are washable, do not collect fuzz. They are all same in firmness to hand, filled with air. I am curious if I should have released some air out for baby's earlier experience. Pointed nubbins was not pleasurable to my touch, but baby likes it and is not displeased. I guess to an adult, pointed objects usually mean pain,but babies are blank slate so pointy nubbins are simply fun. So give it a try, though your own adult sensory would say otherwise. At delivery, one box delivered, balls were easy to remove, arrived inflated.

These are really great. They are the perfect size for my 14mo to play with and he can pick them up in one hand. The nubs help with this. They also still roll really well and bounce great, but not too great, lol. These are perfect! Nothing to improve.
