Not sure on the toner actually toning, however my hair always looks shiny and feels soft after use. Really like it.

I first discovered this gloss during lockdown in 2020 when I couldn't go to the salon for a touch up. I loved the subltle color boost it gave and the shine. Now, I use it to get an extra month or more between expensive salon visits.

I had my hair highlighted, it was a really ashy color that didn't look right on my complexion. I decided to buy this to see if it would bring some warm tones to my hair and it absolutely did. It made my highlights golden and it looks just the way I wanted it to. It did feel dry after I rinsed it out, but I put some K18 my hair and it felt much better.

I read the reviews prior to buying and this product sounded like a boost for my slightly faded hair color My color is a warmer dark blonde/light brown and with this gloss application I’m not sure I noticed any difference? I followed the instructions and left on my hair for exactly 20 minutes. I was concerned that it was going to be thin and runny because the directions have all sorts of caution around clean up. It mixed well and was a thick consistency like regular hair color I have used in the past few decades. It says that it won’t cover gray hair - I can attest that it didn’t cover my new gray growth, but I bought this for shine.A tip for those who mention the dry feeling. I saw those remarks so I was prepared to condition as you would if you were coloring. As soon as I did this I had no issues with damage or dryness. I used a Joico for color conditioner after a light shampoo while in the shower. This is obviously a chemical so I anticipated potential dryness or just thicker feeling prior to shampooing. I don’t think I would buy it again as I really don’t notice any boost to what my color looked like prior to using. The smell is like rubbing alcohol. Very faint and not nearly as strong as some hair dyes.

I was so hesitant about trying this product and even more concerned when I mixed it and saw that it was bright orange, but I trusted the reviews and am glad I did. I wanted to warm up my hair tone between highlights at the salon. This product gave my hair a very subtle warm tone and allowed me to extend the time between my visits to the salon. I will definitely repurchase this product.

I used golden hour. My natural hair is a level 6, I bleach to about level 8 but my ends are lighter about a 9 or 10. My ends were cooler toned than my roots so I thought I’d use this to warm them up. I didn’t see much of a difference on any of my hair even very light ends. Your hair probably has to be as light as it can go to realy notice a difference. I’ve used Tortoise shell and it’s perfect for adding natural warmth if your not super light. I just used this instead because tortoise shell was out of stock.

This product works so great to give great shine to my hair ! highly suggest this..
