My 8 year and 6 year old loved this book. Geronimo is a family favorite. Kids love the story and the wonderful colors

My 5 year old loves this series and has for the past year and a half. He has had my husband or myself read and re-read this series over and over. He really gets into the characters and loves everything about the books from the maps and great illustrations to the descriptions and introductions of the characters to the way the writing is not just typical one font writing but stylized, colored, and emotive of what the words are saying. My son actually seems to consider Geronimo an imaginary friend and we've made cheesey-full cake and cheese niblets and shared it with Geronimo!This particular series of Geronimo Stilton, "The Kingdom of Fantasy" 1- 5 is extremely creative and full of classic fantasy lore: dragons, witches, gnomes, trolls, giants, elves, fairies, spells, ancient cultures, sprites, sea monsters, love, friends, classic life lessons and Geronimo as the reluctant hero, etc. etc. It's great!When he is a bit older I think these books will be good to assign him to read on his own. I think it's a good way to learn context clues, considering the text puts emotion/feeling into the words via differing fonts and colors.

These books are perfect for the reader who struggles to read and one who gets bored with trying to learn the nuances of comprehension. My boys love them. The book arrived as expected and has been looked through thoroughly by all my boys 3-10 years of age. It's got a bit of a weaker binding than I had hoped, but I'm sure it would have been that way soon with us anyway. I have a 3 year old who is fascinated with the maps and looks through one book while brother is reading with instructional support with the other, or he takes it to and independent reader and makes him identify the numbers on the maps. These books are super fun and cool to read no matter the child's interest in reading!

My three kids love the Kingdom of Fantasy book. I have to admit I do too. They a very colorful and have illustrations on nearly every page that keep the younger ones interested. Even before he could read he would flip through the books page by page and make up his own story, then love to listen to me read it. We have read the whole series and can't wait for the next one to come out.

My family and I have now gotten all 4 of the kingdom of fantasy versions of the Geronimo Stilton books and each one is good in my opinion. It is hard to say which ones I liked the best because I liked them all. I like them because they are actually fairly interesting and fun to read for me, and the kids like them because they have a lot of nice pictures and are interesting for them as well. They especially like the maps that are printed for each area that our hero travels through. My 2nd grader can also read this book on her own, and I have her read parts of it sometimes during the bedtime routine.It is seldom that I have found books to read to the kids that I actually do not mind reading myself. I have now read thee of the books in the Kingdom of Fantasy series so far and have enjoyed all of them.

I hate when people review a book and don’t show inside of it. We haven’t read the book yet but wanted to show other parents how big the pages are.
