Bang for your Buck
This oil is bigger and more cost effective than buying thr liter HarvestRight. There is no smell and it is clear. The quality is just as good as the harvest right brand and works well in my freeze dryer. It doesnt get extremely hot and keeps the pump well greased. Ill be buying this from now on.

Works well with harvest right freeze dryer
Works great with harvest right freeze dryer. This is one of the recommended products for the appliance. I wish it had some way to pour from the container a little easier as it is not viscous and spills down the side a bit when transferred to another vessel.

Robinair premium high vacuum pump oil
Received gallon jug of oil and it was sealed, thankfully, but there was no cap on jug or in box so now I have to find a cap that will seal the jug once opened as I would not need to use the whole gallon at once. Only reason I gave 4 stars

Comparable to harvest Right
This is the recommended brand comparable to Harvest Right. It seems to be high quality to help my freeze dryer pump run efficiently. I didn't notice any smell or any issues while running the pump.

Works well in my HR Freeze Dryer.
My HR Small Pro manual said I could use this oil, without voiding my warranty. This much less expensive than the HR branded oil when purchased by the gallon. I've been using this oil for 2 months now, and cannot tell any difference between it and the HR labeled oil that came with my machine. I've run it through the pitcher-type filter every 5 cycles, and don't seem to be losing much over time. The same 2 liters of oil have served me through about 40 cycles now without issue, but the quality of the pump has as much to do with longevity as the quality of oil or other maintenance concerns.
