Great Product but be Careful
I've used Capsaicin creams for many years as the itch feeling you my experience with peripheral neuropathy can quickly be taken care of by using it. This particular uses more Capsaicin than most so I only use it for small problem areas. The high capsaicin content can burn if used too much or over too large an area. If you need or want the higher capsaicin content, this is a great product. Just use with care.

Totally Useless, No Heat, No Pain Relief
This claims to have 0.1% Capsaicin which is the same percentage found in all other Capsaicin creams. However, I've used a couple of other brands in the recent past and with each of them I could feel the warmth almost immediately and in about 30 minutes the pain would go away. This Capzix Cream did not give off any warmth and provided no pain relief. I suspect it's just lotion like any hand lotion with zero Capsaicin. I say this because I touched my tongue to where I'd applied it and there was not chili pepper tingle. I had to go through extreme measures to get a refund because, technically, it's not a refundable item.

It works
I have diabetic nerve pain. I have had it since November. I started using capzix a couple of weeks ago. It appears to be working. I use it 2 times a day. My nerve pain has diminished. Is it gone yet, no. It is much more manageable. My biggest beef, when my feet heat up in my sneakers, boy howdy it burns. That being said, when it gets hot I take off my shoes. I assume as I lessen my capzix this will lessen. To sum it up is it worth it? Yes. I am hoping it will get better but the nerve pain waking me up I will continue to use capzix. A couple of hints…use a disposable glove to apply or clean your hand throughly. If you think your hand is clean wash it again. Put it on thinly so it can dry quickly. At night I use cotton socks on so it doesn’t get all over the place.

Works well But caution side effects
This product helped with joint pain in the ankles when I used it over night. The next morning I thought I wiped it off and went for a walk. It began burning after a mile to point I had to remove my shoes and socks. My feet were red as if burned. I had to be picked up be cause the burn was so painful. I used soap and water to clean off the product and had to do cold milk compresses for 30 mins to alleviate and refrain from warm/hot water for 24hrs.Make sure to throughly clean the area before any activity that may heat up the area or area you may sweat on. Other than that it’s a great product.

This product is dangerous to sensitive skin!!!
If you have sensitive skin, avoid this product. It is made from red hot chilli peppers. It can create a burning sensation on your skin that will not wash off! And "never" apply it without putting on a plastic glove. As for pain relief, it is an effective cream. Use only a thin coat, especially if you are applying before bedtime. I have arthritis in my hip joints and this cream did provide significant pain relief.

This cream is awesome
I have shoulder issues & my orthopedist suggested I purchase capsaicin cream. I stumbled upon this item & so glad I did. This cream is way better than biofreeze. Yes, it burns a little, but it feels really good. I started off using a very small pea-sized amount to see where my comfort level was. I can use about a nickel size amount with no major burning issues. I can feel it penetrating far better than any other cream I've tried. There is no sticky residue & it absorbs fairly quickly. I do use a glove to apply as I don't want to take any chances getting this in my eyes. I highly recommend to anyone who needs deeper muscular heat. Thank you so much.

It is not very warm even though I have very sensitive skin.
I've tried all kinds of capsaicin cream. I don't find it any hotter than the others. I do apply with a glove as it is still made from chili peppers. But I don't see where it truly helps on my neck pain from nerve damage. It doesn't take down stiff and sore muscles. I've used all kinds of the stuff and I don't find it to be so hot. I have tender and sensitive skin as well, so I thought it might get pretty hot from the reviews but it was not very hot at all. I'm probably going to see if my doctor can recommend a better one. I had used zostrix from a prescription for it once long ago and it was much hotter and I did find relief but it is not made any longer so possibly he knows another brand that is hot and will work cause it does take the heat in the chili peppers to work well. Didn't make the skin red or anything but it was a very very slight heat but very weak. It's not returnable so check before buying. It's like very mild peppers and not any that were hot cause it's not hot on sensitive skin and I am elderly as well and I normally have to be careful with using capsaicin cream but not this one. It's not much more than a regular cream. Not to me anyway but I do use a glove so I don't get it in my eyes and I touched my mouth once and it did burn a little bit cause it was wet. Maybe it was because I have used prescription strength before and then it's probably totally different.

Arm itching- I did not buy this for pain relief
I have an odd itch below my elbows but above my wrists on both arms. No rash, just an annoying itch that flairs up mostly at night. I had read a recommendation that Capsaicin provides relief. It was getting bad, so I ordered some of this cream. You only need to use very little. Yes, it does make your arm(s) feel hot, but the itch did go away for me. Careful not to touch your eyes. The itch no longer wakes me up at night.
