Works perfectly, using in vfd cabinet for cooling ventilation

Bought this fan as an exact replacement for a Sunon SP100A fan in an old but handy (due to being very compact) Pelonis Ceramic Honeycomb heater. The sleeve bearing on the original still spun freely, but had become very noisy after many hours (over 2.5 decades) of use. Replacement was relatively easy. Comparing fans it turned out the new one is not exactly the same - the old fan frame seemed to be steel, and had thicker flanges. The new fan frame is either aluminum or some zinc alloy, and has thinner flanges. The old fan had 10-32 tapped holes on the non-labeled side, used for mounting. The new fan holes were not tapped, but their diameter was just over that of a 10-32 tap drill (#21), so I just tapped them without drilling. Otherwise all dimensions that count were the same, and it fit perfectly after tapping. The best part is that the heater with the new fan is quieter than ever, even compared to when it was new, so I am very satisfied.

It was purchased to replace the fan in a Fiberstars 6004 light for my pool, I t worked great and easy installation, just plug it in and your done.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this fan as an exact replacement for my incubator fan. I was thrilled the first couple of days, you couldn’t hear it from across the room. Now, 2 weeks later, I’m afraid it going to go out on me completely, it has become quite loud. Im ordering 2 more fans because my kittens life depends on this fan working and keeping a constant temp in the incubator. Maybe I just got a bad one? Of course my 30 days expired, before I needed to use it.
