In exchange for purchasing this at a discounted price I am offering an unbiased review of this product.I have been guilty of letting watermelons go to waste because I hate having to cut them up, so when I saw this product I naturally needed to try it.I coincendentally had received a mini watermelon in my CSA share this week just in time to try it.It it heavy, stainless steel and dishwasher safe.You first slice through the watermelon as close to the rind as possible, holding the tool upside down. They you flip it the other way and grasp each slice and pull it up, almost like a set of tongs.It sliced very easily, but my opinion is that tool would work better on a larger, firmer watermelon. Being the one I had was a mini size and a bit softer flesh, it wasn't big enough to get nice full slices as the tool was as long as the melon. This is not fault of the seller or tool per say, just the type of watermelon I used.I gave this a 4 star rating, 1/2 star down for being made in China and 1/2 star for ease of use for a mini watermelon.Again, I received this product at a discount for my unbiased opinion of the product. These opinions are my own and I was not paid for it.

This watermelon slicer is stainless steel, so it's super durable. It is the perfect tool for cutting up watermelons. Super easy to use because it slices through the watermelon like cutting warm bread. We buy watermelons all the time. I was really excited to try it, so I went out and bought a watermelon and it worked perfectly! You will first need to cut the watermelon in half with an actual knife, but the slicer works perfectly for slicing and dicing watermelons.

I love watermelon. Seriously. It is my favorite fruit and it means summer to me, which means fun! When I ordered this slicer (recommended by a friend) I was so excited knowing it was on the way that I went out and bought 2 whole watermelons and my fiancé thought I was crazy, until she saw me use the new slicer. It was so easy that it was actually really fun. I cut one and then she wanted cut the other one with the slicer. We have a tray of cut melon in the fridge but it will be gone in the next day or so. We're having friends over for a barbecue and the melon is ready to go. Great product!

I just got a new kitchen gadget and it is my favorite. It works so easily and it is fun to use. I am a yoga teacher and being able to quickly prepare healthy meals and snacks before I begin my busy day is important. This slicer will help me stay on track with clean eating. I just started a diet plan that includes watermelon as a snack. I am excited to have this new tool.

I'm writing this review because I was very surprised how efficient and clean it was to use this simple tool. I used to go to Whole Foods and pay a lot of money to buy pre-sliced watermelon. Now It's so easy to do it myself and I save a significant amount money!

Avoid this product. I just got mine in and it does not even cut right. It will not come in the nice package as pictured. This is a China seller with a low quality product. I could cut a watermelon much faster with a regular knife than this piece of junk.

This is one of the most handy kitchen tools I've seen! I love it and know it will get lots of use with summer coming. Great item!
