excellent saddle
I have put one of these in a D-28, one in a 000-28 EC, and am about to buy one for another 000-28. They require some work to get the height right for me, and some sanding to fit the slot, but if I can do it, you can too. I highly recommend these saddles if you want to upgrade to bone or replace an old or uncompensated saddle.
