The paper is origami paper, not cut up construction paper like some of the other options on amazon. There's a lot of different colors (I got the full 500 pack) but do be warned gold and silver foil are only 1 piece each (definitely misleading, should clarify that, but Im not bothered much. I read the reviews before buying). Besides that, the paper seems to be pretty good, it seems to be cut well, and I can only come up with two minor complaints. First being that the colors aren't organized. It seems like there were 3 different sections put together, and each section had a repeating pattern of several colors. So you have to flip through and dig for the color you want. That doesn't detract from the quality though. The package also doesn't have much rigidity, so they came slightly curved because of shipping. They didn't the paper in a box, it was in an amazon bag. Now, the paper may come slightly curved, but its definitely not going to be ruined my moisture because they double cellophaned the paper, which is massively appreciated.Again, minor complaints, I just got back into origami for the first time in years and this paper works wonders. I love having all the different color options for different designs, I love the fact that this is actual origami paper, not dual sided cut up construction paper (because some designs dont work with dual sided), and I think you get this for a reasonable price. More likely than not I'm going to rebuy this if its still up whenever I finally run out of this pack.

I love that the origami papers are colored on one side and white on the other. They are easy to fold and the instructions in the book are simple enough to follow. I like the descriptions of the folds, too. My 3 year old now folds other pieces of paper and napkins calling his folds “book folds” or “diagonal folds.” So cute!

I purchased these as a gift for an 8 year old. He loves these as he is really into origami. I think he already used up half in a matter of days. If he needs more, I will not hesitate to order more. These are one side color and the other side is white. Thickness is perfect for making folds.

This is my favorite standard paper. It’s actually square, you would be surprised how many cheaper brands I’ve purchased that aren’t. The colors are nice, and I like that they are one side color only, it makes teaching people how to fold easier since you can see what side of the paper you are on. They crease fairly easily and cleanly and the models hold their shape for years, even in humid environments. Best bang for your buck if you want to just fold a bunch and hand em out or teach people.
