Good balance of spiciness to flavor
One of the challenges of finding your favorite pre-made curry paste is discovering the ones that have a balance of spicy heat to flavor. These definitely have a kick, but I it's fairly well balanced between the two.If you find it is too spicy, you can add a little of the other ingredients to bring it into your preferred balance. Just grind or process some garlic, Asian shallot, galangal, lemongrass and any spices to bring up other flavors, depending on which curry paste seems too hot for your liking.I have used all 3 and found them to be excellent. The green might have tasted the most spicy to me, but I only make Thai curry once every 1 - 2 months. The red was fairly spicy and it seemed the Panang was the least, at least that's what my memory is.I just wanted to give this producer a good review because I think this is an excellent, authentic product.

This is the one, impeccable
I have purchased numerous Thai curry pastes and these 3 are far better than any others I have had. The most authentic I have found and reminds me of a close family friend from Thailand that makes their pastes from scratch. The Penang is my favorite but all of them are perfect. I like to stir fry some fresh chopped garlic and ginger with the paste in oil for a few minutes to open up the flavors, then pour in a can of coconut milk and reduce to half volume before adding proteins and veggies. 2 cans of coconut milk will make a nice thick curry if that is your goal. The paste has a nice spice by itself, but we prefer adding 4 Thai chilies for a real spice kick. A few kafir like leaves, once you stop cooking add fish sauce and lime juice for a literal perfect curry. The green comes alive with some Thai basil. I cannot say enough great things about this curry.Plan ahead, this ships from Thailand and can take 3-4 weeks - though mine arrived in a little over 2 weeks last time. Pro tip: buy a few so it’s not a problem when you get a curry itch you need to scratch.

Great product
So, I purchased these and they showed up a couple of days before Christmas. With the hustle and bustle of the season they sat for a couple of weeks on the kitchen table. Yesterday, I was able to find a few minutes to go and pickup a couple of cans of lite coconut milk, ginger, and bamboo shoots. I made the red curry and made it like I would think it should be made. I cut a few sprigs of cilantro and 2 green onions and put them to the side. I cut a large chicken breast in to small pieces, chopped a couple of pieces of fresh garlic, and grated a small amount of fresh ginger. Seems like a task, but it really isn't as I use these ingredients in my home regularly. We made a plain quenia in the rice cooker, to add to the curry when complete. I added a little olive oil to a pan and browned the chicken breast with a little salt and pepper. I added the whites of the green onion, the garlic, the ginger, and the curry paste the last couple of minutes to the chicken. The smell of rotten shoes hit as soon as the curry paste hit the heat. I saw in an earlier comment that the smell was rough, so I didn't stress. It quickly went away and the fragrant smell of Thai spices started to come out. I added two cans of lite coconut milk to the pan and stirred until all the paste was milled with the coconut milk. I added a teaspoon of sugar to the mix. I added a small amount of shoestring cut bamboo shots and let the curry simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. It slightly thickened up and I dished it around a mound of quenia making sue that both dishes had ample chicken in them. I garnished it with the cilantro/green onion mix and cut a lime wedge and put it on the rim of the bowl. It was amazing, better than 90% of the Thai restaurants I have eaten at. I promptly ordered two more sets of the curry paste today. Can't wait to try the other two, as I feel like I have already got my monies worth!

authentic thai curry paste
Tired of trying curry pastes that don't quit taste like Thailand quality, get these. I have never written a review but thought I should with this product. Closest thing to being there that I have tried, real thai curry with the correct ingredients. So glad I found these.

The one and only! Transport your taste buds to one of the best countries in the world.
Yes! Yes! Yes! With this Covid-19 lock down I've been watching lots of documentaries and cooking shows on Thailand and its wonderful food. (Checkout Duncan's Thai Kitchen on prime video or YouTube BTW!)We have a great Thai restaurant near us, but the flavour is always too sweet and having spent 12 months in Thailand, it never quite hits the mark. Craving Green Curry, I went through the pantry to realize that I had forgotten I had bought this curry paste pack. A trip to the Asian grocery for palm sugar, kefir lime leaves, Thai eggplant, Thai basil and tofu and we are set!Holy heck, I'm in Thailand! This is so damn good!
