Ideal Standard Solea P2 Pneumatic Toilet Flush Plate, R0110A6, Black

Decent quality - much better than the original which felt obviously plasticy - this is heavier and seems more robust. Just swapped the existing pipes onto the new unit so took just seconds to fit. Overall pleased.

I needed this to replace faulty front plates in my house - with the original chrome-plated ones (from another manufacturer I think) near impossible to obtain. This does the job, though overpriced for what it is.

Bought as replacement for a broken chrome version which is now unavailable from Ideal Standard. Why would they want to make it unavailable when they are not that sturdily made and replacement flush plates are required? Unless Ideal Standard are making a much more robust product, then they should supply replacement flush plates plus they are very expensive for what they are. When contacting the manufacturer, they were particularly vague about when a new chrome version would be available, in the meantime there will be plenty of people who need a new flush plate to flush their loo and won’t be able to get one. Poor response. So a white replacement will have to do for now as as there are two loo’s on site a spare bought as well in case the other one snaps.
