Outstanding Product, Meh Taste
It's hard to leave an overly positive review for products like this. Mostly because there is no real definitive way for me to assure you that drinking this is truly helping me and my cycling performance. That said, I do actually think that it works well compared to most of the others I have tried and there have been too many to count. The one nice thing about the CarbSport is that it does not mess with my stomach at all. That is a huge one for me, pretty much every other one on the market really gets my stomach going or makes me feel crampy, this does not. Another thing is that it does not make me feel overly "full". Some of the others tend to do that and almost waterlogged or something. There is no sticky film left on my mouth either after drinking while cycling. It's hard to explain but many of the others do that and its a little annoying. One problem I do have is that the CarbSport is not good tasting, the taste is the equivalent to mixing chalk dust into your water bottle and setting some mixed berries next to it with hopes of the flavor infusing the drink through the plastic bottle. That said, you can totally drink it - it's not "gross", just NOT mixed berry. What I have done to compensate is get the liquid "water enhancer" products that have no calories, additives or anything and then add a squirt of that to the mix. Grape, cherry, lime or whatever and there we go, I have a great tasting drink with just a little doctoring up.I would and will still purchase the product again, I will always doctor up the taste. It may be fine for you. I do think that CarbSport is more stable while drinking it, meaning I don't get the highs and lows like I do with most energy drinks, sports drinks and powders. I also mix it about 1/2 of the recommended amount otherwise it's a little "thick" for my liking. Up to your preference.

Does exactly as it says.
I used this to rehydrate after making weight for a Mixed Martial Arts Event and had gained a good amount of my weight back and had plenty of energy to perform at my best.

CarbSport Mixed Berry
CarbSport Mixed Berry drink is one of the better ones that I have tried. I have been riding/racing road and mountain bikes for 10+ years and tried all the major brands. Starting with the taste, is it a berry drink and goes down smooth, it does finish with a slight film but not bad. The directions say to use 1-3 scoops per bottle, I have settled on 1-1.5 scoops, this is all I can handle as far as the flavor is concerned. Now keep in mind I will dilute Gatorade because I think it is “too strong/concentrated” so my preference is just that. It does completely dissolve leaving no residue in the bottom of the bottle, which is a MAJOR plus for me. There are others out there that feel like drinking sand at the bottom of the bottle, but not this one. When it comes to the effectiveness of it, I don’t have a concrete “it works” but so far I do like it. I have used it after a snack and on an empty stomach it settles great. Since it is winter, I have don’t any on bike comparisons, but at the gym doing weights then spin class so far so good, I will continue to use it and see how the rest of the container feels. Once it warms up enough to ride out side again I’ll add an on bike section and I see if it helps me with a cramping issue that I have been trying to figure out.At this point I would definitely recommend trying CarbSport Mixed Berry.

Carb Sport
Used this drink as a supplement for Gu, which sometimes gives me a stomach ache. I did not get a stomach ache from using this product however the taste was very undesirable. I tried both the mixed berry and the orange. The mixed berry was tolerable, although I did not drink an entire water bottle full of it but the orange tasted absolutely awful! It was undrinkable. I couldn't even pawn it off on anyone. I would not purchase the orange and wouldn't use it if I got it for free. If the flavors improved I would consider using this product for training and racing but currently the undesirable flavor is just too much for me to use this product regularly.

Won't use anything else.
Best product i've used for fueling for long races. Light taste that I can drink all day. Doesn't upset my stomach.
