I originally purchased two of the items. They are very nice. Sadly, one of them dropped onto a granite countertop and shattered. I ordered a replacement, which is the one in this review. It is nice, just don't drop it.

What did I use it for? I used it to hold sugar! Which it does very well. But as it holds the sugar, it's quite beautiful to behold. And you can tell from a distance how much sugar is left inside of it.

I removed the bowl from the box and got cut by the lid. The lid is chipped in multiple places. Beautiful design. Sad it’s garbage.

I wanted to replace my sugar bowl with something classier, and this is it. The lid fits tight and the glass is heavy. I love it.

My review is for a bit of an odd use of this sugar bowl/candy dish, but it works perfectly to hold dental appliances in their cleaning solution. I searched high and low for a covered glass dish to keep my nighttime retainers in their cleaning solution during the day and I couldn't find a single product advertised for this use. So I decided to search for tiny candy dishes instead and came across this perfect solution.Just so you are aware as pictures can be deceiving, this dish is very small, I put a face cream jar beside it in one of the photos for size reference. The price on this item seems to fluctuate a lot, the current price is over $20 and it was around $12 when I purchased it, quite honestly, I think either of those prices are a bit high for what it is. There are imperfections in the glass and for such a high price for such a tiny dish I would expect a much more consistent and flawless product. However, I paid the price and chose to keep the dish, so it was worth it to me and the imperfections do not interfere with it's performance for my specific needs. So, all in all, I'm still very happy with my purchase and I'm glad I found this cute little dish!

Melting butter in the microwave risks experiencing a hard bump with butter splashing all over the device. This little bowl with the glass lid keeps everything else clean. It is, however, very slippery when being washed, so you have to be very careful.

I was looking for something different to hold butter on the counter. I really enjoyed this until I dropped the lid on my tile floor when removing from the dish washer, it shattered. I still use the bottom for snacks and leftovers.

This simple clear glass sugar bowl with a lid is just what I was looking for. The shape and design fit in any style or decor. I searched for a small sugar bowl that did not have a slot in the lid for a spoon to keep moisture or any other dust or crumbs out of my sugar!Holds about a cup of sugar which is plenty for coffee service.

Aside from arriving with a chip in the lid, it's exactly as shown, nice bowl, thick glass.
