It’s Jane Austen meets Harlequin romances. While that sounds trite, these books are not at all. They retain the sparkle of Austen, and the intelligence of her characters. While the plots have a certain predictability to them, and there’s a bit of ‘bodice ripping’ here and there, these are bright, fun, and never take themselves too seriously.

These books are so good! Such a fun escape from reality. Easy read and follows similar format through each book. Each book follows a different sibling. Love how they intertwine together. If you loved the show, read the books!

I loved the Regency style covers on these books and I really enjoy the larger size as opposed to the smaller paperbacks. I wish the print was just a little larger ( old eyes ) but I am still very pleased. I hope we can get the rest of the books in an offering of the same type soon. I will certainly be interested in purchasing them. The service was quick and they were in perfect condition.

A great series, filled with humor and love and romance!

These books were just what I was looking for. Great characters, humor, and happy endings. Lots of men to fall in love with and women to admire. I also thoroughly enjoyed all the family dynamics.

After watching Bridgerton, I thought I’d pick up the books. Not a literary masterpiece, but fun quick reads for someone looking to escape reality for a couple hours. I read the 5 in this series. I probably won’t buy the rest of the series, but these were fun. I’ve passed them on to my sister to enjoy.

Better than the tv show

I've read 3 of them so far, but they have all been real page-turners, I don't want to put them down! There's wit and humour, made me laugh out loud a few times, there's emotion and suspense. The main characters are likable and I just love being transported to a different time. I found out about these books after watching season one of the netflix adaptation, which I enjoyed a lot, but as is nearly always the case, the books are better! They are an easy read and just an absolute pleasure to enjoy. Would recommend as a bit of light reading for when you want to escape! This specific set is nice, love the cover art! They are relatively small with small font-size, just fyi. I'm very happy with mine, they arrived quickly from UK to Sweden where I live!

These books are so much better than the series, 100% worth buying, fantastic stories each story has a running theme in them while also having their own story told, since buying them I’ve not been able to put them down, arrived quite quickly and packaged well
