Alfalfa Meal

I can say this product did make a difference in my plant health after a short time. It became very clear that the plants were getting more nitrogen. I added it to my raised beds first cycle of soil so the difference was visible. Pretty decent price for what it does. Definitely good quality.

The product works well, it keeps the deer out of my garden, or from them eating my flowers in the yard.

Using for plant fertilizer, we will see how it works... It's dry, good. Little smell, very good. But the dogs still smelled it from behind a closed door. Haha

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love the product. I use it in my chicken feed. My chickens love it. Only reason I didn’t give it five is the amount for price.

This was new product for me to try. Using blood meal was recommended by a YouTuber gardener I follow. This was not the brand they recommended but I decided to see if it would help my garden. I think maybe I used too much since it seemed to suffocate my seedlings. I would say if you are not accustom to using blood meal then make sure you do your research first. I can not say if this brand or product was at fault but maybe my ignorance was the culprit for my experience.

This product looked so rich and the smell was terrific. I dug several holes around my hydrangea; filled and covering them up with earth. BUT some animal smelled it too and ate it all up. :-) I’m purchasing more but this time I’ll put a mesh covering over it for a time. You just know it’s a natural, wonderful product if an animal wants it for dinner!
