Not worth the price
No place for headphones to plug into and the pinpoint doesn’t pinpoint at all. Save your money and get a better detector.

Works well but the information on here and in the pamphlet with the machine says this unit takes 6 AA batteries but it is actually 6 AAA batteries. Just a heads up.

Great weight and performance
Great weight and performance, but I'm going to buy a cheap frisbee and strap it to the coil because the decorative notchs on the coil snag on the grass. :)

Nice starter detector and very accurate and functional.
This is a good detectorfor beginners and does find coins, foil, iron just like most. However it has 3 discrimination modes but you can't say eliminate iron targets only and find coins and jewelry. You can pick coins OR jewelry, but not both. It's pinpointer function takes some getting use too and is not as accurate as just using the detector mode and using an X grid to pinpoint. Ground balancing is accurate but not so good at the beach. Get a VLF machine that is waterproof if beach hunting is in your future. I haven't snagged on any grass swinging so it wasn't an issue for me. All in all you will graduate to expert soon enough with this detector and can spend more on your next machine, but this one is no toy. It's the real deal and very accurate. Only reason I gave it a 4 is it's inability to eliminate just iron while allowing both coins a jewelry spontaneously.
