Super hilfreich

Recommended to all new Mums / Mums to be
I love this book. I moved on from the ‘first 6 months’ version to this one because again, like with the first 6 months, it’s clear and concise! I didn’t want a book that was going to take me a long time to read. These quick chapters are just what I need. I’ve recommended this book to all new Mums/Mums to be.

Great guide, well-written and helpful
This was such a handy guide, and I was so relieved to find it, as I found their previous book (Your Baby Week By Week) extremely helpful and very accurate, but unfortunately it ended somewhat abruptly at Week 24 (6 months), and I'd been relying on it quite heavily!!I love their style of writing - I never feel under pressure if my little one doesn't start doing certain things when other books say she should be, and the gentle guidance and tips that they provide are an absolute god-send for me as a first time mum. The structure of each chapter is very well thought out (each month they give details on what to expect in terms of feeding, sleep, development, health, what's happening to mum & dad, when to call the doctor etc).I think this book would also work well not only for first time mums, but also parents having their second or even third child. It's so easy to use and you can just flick to the section of the book that is relevant to your little one's stage of development.

A must-have read!
I had the Week by Week book by the same authors, being a first time mum it was kind of a lifeline. So I had to get the follow on!It’s more of the same goodness! The authors write in a way that is non-judgemental, just friendly advice and what is great is “when to worry” sections - meaning you know when not to worry! The month by month thing is great because let’s face it, when you have a 6 month old who has time to read a whole book! But I can just read a chapter at a time or look something up when I need to.Thoroughly recommend and would say it’s a must have for any mum with 6-24 months olds.
