This is my second Arc 5 Panasonic shaver, the first one lasted me 10 years. It is still working but I decided to buy a newer model. The LV97 is basically identical to more expensive models in respect of shaver parts, only the external materials and look differs. Excellent shaving experience, really close with minimal effort. Some irritation on my cheek skin after the shave, but I noticed if I don't apply too much pressure while shaving, it is not there. I hope I get another 10 years out of this one.

Arrived in time. Well packed. Tried using it unfortunately had a scratch near the Adam’s apple. Trying to remove the hair on that area and it’s quite difficult to remove.

I used Braun shavers for many years and found this item while searching for a less expensive shaver to take on while travelling. This rhing shaves cleaner and with less sein Irritation than even the most expensive Braun. It can be cleaned easily with just a bit of Water. I am so satisfied that I exchanged it to become my every day shaver.

Comparing to braun series 9 : Panasonic arc 5 shaver are much better ( closer and more comfortable and faster shavers ) This Panasonic arc shaver comparing to the other arc 5 Panasonic shaver is exactly the same ( same shaving performance and even same material ) so no need at all to go for the much more expensive model ( es lv9q ) . 100% same

It's been 2 months of use now. Pretty disappointed with the performance despite the price. Does not perform well enough especially for smaller faces and below the chin

Got this device from hell as a birthday gift for my husband. It took off the top layer of skin from his face, and still left patches of hair untouched causing a superficial burn . It took him a week to recover from this trauma Going back to razors. Worst gift ever

Ho recentemente acquistato questo prodotto dal Regno Unito, e posso dire che sono complessivamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto, ma ci sono alcuni aspetti da considerare. Il rasoio è arrivato con una spina italiana, il che è stato un grande sollievo poiché non ho dovuto preoccuparmi di adattatori internazionali complicati. Tuttavia, il prodotto includeva anche un adattatore per convertire la spina standard italiana (con i due poli) in una versione con spine più grandi, utilizzata in alcune prese italiane. I’ve used Braun shavers for as long as I can remember, and my old Braun Series 7 has finally started to show its age, becoming a bit rusty and noticeably less effective. Naturally, I went to check the newer Braun models — and was quite surprised (and honestly disappointed) to discover that the new Series 7, 6, and 5 now feel more like what the old Series 3 used to be: budget-leaning versions of a once-premium line. It seems only the Series 8 and 9 remain true high-end options, and even those come at a steep price. So I decided it might be time to try something different — and I’m really glad I did. The Panasonic ES-LV97 has been excellent so far. The shaver itself feels compact, solid, and very comfortable in the hand (though the shaving head is on the larger side — something to be aware of). The build quality is genuinely impressive, with good materials and a very sturdy feel compared to recent Braun models. One of the best features is the cleaning station. It’s compact, easy to use, and has an integrated reservoir for the cleaning liquid — you simply add water and detergent. Unlike Braun’s alcohol cartridges, you don’t need to worry about the solution evaporating within a couple of days if the lid isn’t sealed perfectly, and it’s far less prone to spilling if the unit is moved slightly. It even includes a drying function, which is a great extra touch. As for the shave: extremely close, smooth, and surprisingly gentle. I have sensitive skin and fairly patchy facial hair, and I’ve had absolutely no irritation or uneven spots. It cuts fast, cleanly, and with minimal pressure. Battery life is excellent, the shaver is quieter than expected, and it performs well both dry and with shaving foam. Even without the cleaning station it’s easy to rinse clean, but having the station makes the whole routine almost effortless. Considering the performance and overall quality, it offers very good value for the price. All in all, a very impressive upgrade and a strong alternative to the increasingly budget-feeling Braun lineup. I’m genuinely pleased with the switch.
