After watching too many British baking shows we thought we’d give Jaffa cakes a try. We first tried LU Pims and enjoyed them very much. So, we thought we’d try the “more authentic” product actually labeled as Jaffa Cakes. The only one that had a delivery date that was close was this one. It was a bit pricy but I figured it wasn’t too much for a three pack. When they arrived, I found that they were not packed in a box, but wrapped in paper. So, two of the three boxes were damaged, with crushed corners. On opening a box and tearing open a sleeve, I saw that there were lots of crumbs inside. This worried me because jaffa cakes should be spongy, not dry like a cookie, so crumbs should not be a thing. Indeed, when I bit into one it was dry and stale. I searched on the box for a sell-by or expiration date and couldn’t find one. I suspect that if there had been one I’d have gotten nostalgic about it. I’m sad that the product is not eligible for return and feel ripped off. Cannot recommend. Would not buy again.

I usually live these little cake/cookies, but they were stale and not tasty.

My favorite cookie! Soft sponge covered with refreshing orange jelly and chocolate. Jaffa is moderately sweet cookie with a strong orange flavor. The package contains 6 bags of cookies. Each bag has 10.7 oz. I will order again.

Good Jaffa cakes

They would be better only if they came right of the baker's oven. Nice blend of chocolate and orange with a vanilla biscuit.

I haven't even opened the other two packages yet but I can only assume they're just as smashed up. All three packages were VERY expired. Dry, stale, awful. Do not buy these.
