Unlike the product I had prior to this, I can tell by the scent and taste that this is genuine milk thistle seed, and that it's very fresh. I like the powder form for mixing in green drinks or smoothies, etc. It's also helping to relieve mild inflammation in the liver/gallbladder area, which the previous product did nothing for.
