Love the design and size compared to some of the other options on amazon. 'Handle grips' are useless because it's too hot to hold there when warmed. Also wish the top was slightly smaller so the sake cup could fit on top, but that's extremely minor.

Used many months after purchase, it leaks from bottom.

Arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Nice carafe for sake. We needed to replace one that broke in the sink (we had a smaller version of this design for several years), so we were pleased to find this to match our cups. Worked out nice in the microwave for heating up sake.

Sadly, this item holds only 8 ounces (and that’s if filled well beyond the neck and up to the very top. I did order the larger size, and this is the 6” height it is said to be. But the capacity is not as stated.The design is as expected. The base has a smooth finish (no jagged edges). Undecided about keeping it as there are other carafes with a larger capacity that would be preferable.

Quality is great for the price and is dishwasher safe!
