7643 Telfa Adhesive Dressing Package, 3x4in, Pack of 100

We have a dog that licked a hot spot on his leg so obsessively that it developed into a lick granuloma. Our vet prescribed an antibiotic and did 3 cold laser treatments on it. (If you ever have a dog with a wound, the cold laser treatments speed healing dramatically!) When our vet finished the first treatment, she began the bandaging by applying one of these pads to the wound. Really, any type of non-stick pad would have worked, but the adhesive strips on each side of these pads mean that you have both hands free to apply the vet wrap, instead of having to use one hand to hold the non-stick pad in place. We asked our vet to get the box so that we could make note of the brand and the product name, and we were very happy to find them available on Amazon.Obviously the pad is not visible in my photo because it’s covered with vet wrap, but trust me, it’s under there. 😆These have worked quite well for us, and I will purchase again if we run out. Highly recommended.

My skin tears. This type of dressing replaces every bandaid except soft cloth medical tape dressings. Those medical bandaids wreak havoc on sensitive skin, tearing, and causing rashes…these Telfa don’t seal four sides so the soft cloth tape can do that if you need that

For a diabetic that gets lots of skin problems, these work much better than bandaides. Stick well and comfortable.

This bandage was easy to use.. and did not stick to the stitches. It was easy to remove, yet held close to my skin to protect the needed areas.
