Probably won’t be on the water until Spring but have played with my new toy.This is very comparable to the HDS9 touch gen 2 that I had on a bass boat.It is half the price and I would definitely get two of these for the price of one HDS.This has the 3 in 1 transducer and you can run all three simultaneously giving a great advantage.Graph overlay, networking and scanning all are reminiscent of my HDS. The maps look to be less extensive but I don’t need that much for this application.I mounted it using a ram mount for versatility.Probably the biggest difference in comparison is not advertised and that is that this has less resolution which I believe is 720.The clarity is great however and I honestly do not think you would see a lot of difference in a side by side comparison.In conclusion, if you want the best, go with HDS. If you want very good and very comparable for half the price this is your ticket!

Great product
Great product... sadly day after I bought this unit for $1,000. Bass Pro Shop put the same unit out for sale at $599.

Previous problems have been fixed
All the low review about transducer connection problem were resolved with a software update. It only takes a couple of min. to update to the newer software version if you don't already have it.

Love the image options and display size so much I've added the 7 inch display unit on the front of my boat.
