First of all, if you are even a little overweight, this will be too tight for you. Every time I had to bend over to pick something up, the velcro pulled apart.I spent more time putting it back on....what a pain. And speaking of pain, after wearing it for a brief time while sweating, it started to burn my back. I had to take it off and wash my back! Not sure if there is some kind of chemical on it but my friend bought one as well and had the same thing happen to him!I do not recommend this belt...I am sending it back!

Not what I expected - thought there would be more support for the sciatica!!!

I have had lower back problems for a LONG time. I am constantly trying different things to alleviate the pain. When I got this brace, I was skeptical of whether it would work, but the reviews were pretty good so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was confused on how to put it on, but I'm pretty sure the red part goes on the inside. I don't like wearing it directly against my skin, because it causes my skin to get a little irritated/sweaty. I prefer to wear a Cami or tank top, the brace, and then a shirt over it. It corrects my posture and straightens the lower back to avoid sore muscles and poor posture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it gets REALLY hot, and I wasn't aware it was going to do that. I run hot, though, so that would be why my skin and lower back were so hot and a little sweaty after wearing it at work for most of the day. I am a women's size 10/12 and the large works well for me. There are adjustable Velcro straps, too, to get the fit just right. My back feels a little better, but I have also been stretching and doing yoga, so I think the pain has gotten better because of the combination of all of these things. Overall, I would recommend it if you think you could work on improving your posture. Disclaimer: I received this item at a discounted price for my honest review.

Lower Back Support Belt - This is a really nice back support belt! Unfortunately it doesn't fit myself as snuggly as I would prefer, only comes in large. I'm really disappointed because this has to be one of the nicest belts I've ever seen. I was trying to come up with a solution to shorten it but really couldn't. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and often have to brace or tape certain joints because they are lax and move out of place or dislocate a lot.I have a lot of lower back pain and nothing really helps except for hardcore painkillers and a heating pad. I recently had the amazing opportunity to receive this product at a discount in return for testing, inspecting and reviewing it. I received no other compensation for this review and always give my honest and unbiased opinion of the product.I felt immediate relief as soon as I put this on. It fit perfectly and I love that the compression is adjustable. It warmed up my lower back, which I liked, and it has little rubber grippers so it doesn't slide around and stays in place.It went well under my clothes and I didn't have any problems with that. It also didn't irritate my skin after wearing it for long periods of time. It breathes well and doesn't get all sweaty and gross. Surprisingly, the velcro didn't pick up cat hair and get clogged up with it like I thought it would. I don't know if anyone else would care about that, but I thought I'd add it because I thought it was great!I wear this a lot and I'm very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
