World Flags Coloring Book: Learn All Countries of the World / Geography Gift for Kids and Adults

Nice product for a school setting.

My 6 year old who is obsessed with flags and geography loves this coloring book! It’s extremely accurate and well made.

The sample pages on the back of the book, are not representative of all the countries featured within it. 47 of the (more well known) countries have an expanded page; as shown on the back, with larger flag to color, country outline, cultural details as well as population, capital city, and language information. The other 150 countries/pages feature a smaller flag to color, population, capital city, and language information and are presented 3 to a page. While I realize finding cultural information for the more obscure countries might be a bit tedious, showing the country outline would be helpful. This leads me to biggest critique, which is lack of a map. This book has the perfect format for learning both the flag AND location of countries if only they would include a few maps. Each section of the book has a title page with the name of the continent... (that’s it!). This should be replaced with a map of the continent, doing so would enable the user to find the outline of the country on the map and learn its location. While the QR codes are a nice touch, it would be helpful to include a “Cheat sheet” in the back of the book that shows the coloration of each flag. This would be helpful to those who lack access to electronics. My seven year-old does not have a smart phone or unlimited computer access; in fact one of the reasons I bought the book was to get him away from the screen and do some old-school learning. Over all, the book does a decent job though it could be improved with a few minor additions.

My son loves it but if there is a color picture for all flags, would be better! Then I don’t need to check all the flags pictures for my son.

Got it got my son pretty accurate nice book

I really love the idea behind the book...HATE the extremely thin/cheap paper it is printed on. This book is meant to be colored in. If you use colored pencils in a moderately heavy handed manner, you risk tearing through the paper, or leaving those braille-like indentations on the backside of the page...which has other flags that were meant to be colored. If you make the "mistake" of using even water soluble markers in this book, they WILL bleed through page and destroy the illustrations on the backside. This book has double sided pages, so there's no way to avoid these problems. I would 100% buy a new edition of this book IF it was reprinted on a good quality paper, with single-sided printing. The illustration are cute and the book provides a painless way for children and adults to learn something new, but I can't recommend a coloring book that can't be colored in.

Kids love it, lots of flags and other things to color and keep them busy!
