Seems to be an effective soil mix
I am using this soil for potting an oak seedling that I might eventually turn into a bonsai. The quality of the soil seems pretty good to me. The seedling that I germinated as an acorn and then put into this soil has been growing in leaps and bounds. This is probably not the cheapest soil you can get, but it seems to be effective for the cost. And after potting this seedling, I still have plenty more soil left in the handy resealable bag that I can use for this plant in the future, or on other plants that I acquire.

Excellent Soil, Bonsai seems to love it
The soil came in a cardboard cover with a small leaflet inside that covered basic care of a Bonsai when re-potting etc. The soil itself has 4 different ingredients in it, designed to maintain moisture and help aerate the roots, which is important for a bonsai. It has little stones in it for that reason and little white bits which I think are what helps to soak up moisture and keep your plant healthy. I used it on my Bonsai about 2 weeks ago and my plant has really thrived. It seems to drain well and not much comes out through the drainage holes so I’m not losing soil to any great degree when I water. I recommend this brand, soil and Bonsai food, as I’ve used them both and they both seem to be excellent quality and designed to help you grow your plant the best you can. It has a 2 litre capacity so buy 1 or 2 depending on the size of pot you’re using. The two photos show my Bonsai after about 2 weeks in the new soilVery happy

excellent mixture
My order of Bonsai soil arrived as promised at a good price. Having been repotted in this new soil my tree seems to be benefitting.

Brilliant quality soil
The best quality soil out of all of the bonsai soils I have tried. It drains very well and 2L was just enough for my 2 bonsais I had to repot. It is slightly expensive but due to its quality it is worth it. Will be purchasing it again.

High quality bonsai compost
My husband has several bonsais and has used a lot of different composts. After trying this one, he is very happy and said he could “feel” it was quality! It is a little pricey, but well worth it.

Not sure about this soil
Not sure about this soil when it comes to drainage, since i repotted my bonsai the soil always stays wet i have not changed my watering at all but the drainage is poor in my eyes ,i think i want to change it as im seeing alot of yellow leaves appearing which I’ve hardly had before, bit scared its killing my plant due to holding water.

Great Composition
Great stuff and the trees seem to be thriving having been repotted 3 weeks ago.I repotted 3 Bonsai’s and there is still definitely enough for two more. There are plenty of Bonsai growing soils and mixtures on the market and it’s difficult to get a grasp on which formula is best. I’m going to be sticking with this one as it’s working and working well. This was recommended to me by a Bonsai website but different websites recommend different brands. Good luck finding your own favourite, giving this a go wouldn’t be a bad choice. I recommend it.
