Pads are 8 x 3 ( equivalent to a traditional pantiliner ) Flannel cotton top; the inner core is made from a bamboo cotton blend called ZORB; and a PUL backing. The ZORB is SUPER absorbent, so the pads are thinner. EarthGirl pads are intended to last for 3-5 years in a rotation of 10 pads or more. The paper disposable products all have some kind or fashion of chemical processing that is stuck inside the paper just waiting to sit for hours against your susceptible skin.
