Worked Perfectly!
This was perfect for keeping my dog in his area. He broke the lock on his door and I've just wedged something in the door to keep it locked but that didn't work once he figured out he could pull it through and pop the door open. Its small but it keeps his big self in there. He was able to break out once since I've had the lock on there but that's because I didn't screw it into the door all the way. When I fixed that it's been great ever since.

Perfect for pocket door
Works great! I needed a lock to keep my daughter out of her closet w a pocket door. Like some other reviews, I had trouble lining the parts up but realized if I put the latch on the door, not the wall, that it fit better.

Not the best material.
The piece arrived bent and it doesn’t fit correctly when placed on both the door and frame.

Perfect
I bought this to use as a lock for our bathroom pocket door and it has been amazing. The locks is made of high quality metal. It functions perfectly the size is perfect for the door. The install was as simple as drilling in 4 small screws. It looks amazing. Highly recommend. Especially for pocket doors.

TEENY TINY SCREWS!
This product would be 5 stars for keeping a small drawer from opening.. If this is your "SECURITY" it may not be enough!.. Since the holes are so small you would have to put it in a vise and drill the holes bigger. Not much of a Deterrent .. You would have to drill the holes bigger and give sufficient-sized screws! It may work with longer screws but they would still be very narrow. Get a bolt. It would be better than this. Unless you have a shop to drill out the holes. This may be designed for lightweight applications and not security if using these screws.

only option I could find that would fit an accordion door
One of my cats has been pushing open my accordion door and entering adjacent rooms to get into trouble. I was having an impossible time finding a 90 degree latch that would fit the narrow space available on my door (mostly due to the short width of the handle; the door frame side was not an issue).The small size of this latch saved me. After buying numerous locks on amazon this was the only one that worked. Even with its small size the base of the latch side was still too wide and hung off the edge of my accordion door handle so I chose to slice off approx. 5/16" with a Dremel metal cut off wheel.
