Easy installation (<10 minutes) on Walther P22Q. Actually more solid than OEM sight and, of course, WAY more visible on this daytime plinker.

After losing the medium range sight on my p22, I relentlessly searched the web for a factory replacement. No luck. I was tired of having to compensate my elevation while using the long range sight, so I ordered these. These sights are awesome! Easy target acquisition, fast installation, and looks great. The factory Walther p22 front sights simply pop on and off with no tools whatsoever. These have a set screw that keeps the sight in place. A little drop of blue loctite ensures that it won't back out. Also, the sight doesn't interfere with holstering at all. These should be a standard feature on the p22. Definitely worth it.Update: 3/23/18 Sights are still working great! I have lost 1 fiber optic bar, but this set came with plenty of replacements. The sight does have wear on it, but it is minimal and less than I expected, especially considering the amount of time I have had it and the amount of use and abuse it has seen. I would recommend this sight to anybody!! Buy it!

If you bought the "match" variant of the p22, the sight will not mount to the compensator where the original front sight post was. The screw needs to be threaded in from underneath, but the sight then blocks access to the compensator alignment screw on the barrel. And you cant install the alignment screw first because the barrel then blocks access to the front sight post screw. Luckily it can mount where the front sight post goes on the standard model, and you can then use the plastic piece to cover the compensator sight post hole. Not perfect, but still works fine. Im not sure if required, but I would use some medium thread locker just for the peace of mind knowing the screw wont back out and send the sight flying.Comes with 2 green, 2 red and 1 white optic, but some more variety would be nice. I suppose if one falls out you can replace it, however that seems unlikely because they are held in place quite securely. The red looks the best, but when aiming at targets with orange circles I found the green to be more practical.Overall a fantastic replacement for the dreadful front sight that came with the p22 (and yes, this will work with the newer ppq slide), and for $26 it is an absolute MUST. I understand that it is a relatively inexpensive pistol, but come on Walther. What were you thinking with those sights? Do yourself a favor and buy these.

The different colors available for the front sight definitely catch your eye better than the original white dot. Installation isn't too difficult, though it is a bit of a challenge dealing with the tiny screw. The original front sight should pop out easy enough. I would suggest using a piece of blue painters tape to secure the sight to the slide before you attempt to place the screw. I couldn't think of an easy way to apply the lock-tite to the screw, so I just applied a small drop to the bottom of the sight. It takes some gentle finagling to get the screw started. But, once you do, it tightens down pretty easily. I also had to pop out the lightpipe in order to wipe up all of the lock-tite and make sure the spring didn't freeze. Like I said, not difficult just a little messy. Time will tell how accurate the sight is.

Works wonders. Took about 3 minutes to install and swapped out the red sight for green. Didn’t need anything outside of what’s packaged. No need for overpriced loctite. I did find the screw a bit odd in comparison to the stock sights’ clamps, but it wasn’t an issue. I haven’t checked to see if it’s zeroed yet, but I’m sure it’s similar. Although I do wish it was somewhat luminescent. It’s just clear plastic pipes.

Bolt on with small Allen key. Sight is very visible and Sturdy. Should have changed my sight sooner

First off….the site fit perfectly. Easy installation.Second …. they sent everything. Site, extra filaments, loctite, Allen wrench. Easy clear instructions on the back. I’m kinda surprised they didn’t send a technician to install it. Great experience. Thank you

This pistol has a tendency for the front site to come loose and often lost.
