VERY effective antenna which includes a variety of attachment connectors.
I purchased this antenna to use with a Revox tuner I recently acquired, however other antenna I'd tried to connect all, somehow, had the wrong type of antenna connector. This one came with a few adapters and seemed worth a go. The fitment and connection of the connections is excellent, very snug and secure and even through I've only got the antenna perched on the handles of our patio door, the FM reception is incredible. It's only about 300 mm from the HiFi, leaning on the handles of aluminium patio doors, under a cast iron gutter, and a balcony.. With all these things acting against it, I've incredible reception - picking up stations I've never been able to at this location. I didn't have great luck with the self-adhesive pad, however I think that's probably down to my not having wiped the surface ahead of time and the adhesive becoming contaminated. Excellent antenna at a great price!

Surprisingly good in a low signal area.
Surprised at how good this is. I live in a low signal area at the top of a hill, and FM reception with the usual wire dipole is awful. This, connected to a signal booster, does the job much better. I know FM radio is a bit old hat but I much prefer it to DAB, which sounds very artificial for music. I do find that I have to position it carefully to get the best reception for different stations so do a bit of experimenting.

Not very good
Not such a good aerial. It doesn't really improve the signal over the aerial that came bundled with my new tuner (radio). And the aerial's attached cable doesn't appear to be to be a shielded cable, as moving it after placing your aerial seems to affect the signal, either for the better, or more likely for the worse. The longer story: I bought a new radio for my stereo. It came with a bundled aerial which wasn't getting a fantastic signal. So I bought this aerial, and also the telescopic aerial, both by Bingfu. I didn't know which would be better, and they weren't overly expensive, so I thought I would get both to test them on my new radio and then just stick to the better one of the two. Well, it turns out that neither is really any good. What did work for me is the following. The tuner is plugged to the amplifier that also does my TV (both are in my sitting room). With the plugs supplied, and because of the bad signal, it occurred to me to plug the radio to the TV signal to see if the aerial on the roof for the TV would somehow do a better job of picking up the FM signals. It's a TV aerial, not an FM aerial, but still, I thought it was worth a shot... It turns out that the TV aerial on the roof of the house does a MUCH, MUCH BETTER job of receiving FM signals, by a long shot, than any messing around with the placement of the indoor aerials in the room. All you really need is an adaptor to connect the F-type FM aerial on my tuner to the TV socket. So, if you are in a similar position with a radio next to a TV, I would strongly suggest you try this out. Oh, and my TV signal booster amp seems to boost the FM bands too, which appears to be quite standard for TV booster amps.

Small but mighty with a useful long lead
Having just bought a second hand vintage FM tuner I needed a reasonable arial, having read reviews of this item I decided to give it a go. It arrived the next morning and my first thought was, hum! That is very much smaller than I was expecting, however I plugged it in to my tuner and proceeded walking around the room with it to find a position where I could get good reception and hide it away ! It worked really well and pulled in all the stations I wanted and more without hiss and largely without any interference. Even hidden behind a nearby mirror. The useful length of the lead and it’s diminutive dimensions making it very easy to place in the right position. A very happy customer now loving being reunited with FM. A great piece of kit

Poorly shielded cable makes it useless
The idea seemed good - a short dipole antenna with a sticky pad and 3m of coaxial flex. However, the very thin 3m cable seemed to not be shieleded very well (as a RF coaxial cable should) so that it would just conduct the RF signal from the dipole antenna to the receiver without outside interference. In practice, it was so poorly shielded that it acted as an antenna which easily overwhelmed the actual antenna output. So I'd set the antenna somewhere (using blutack to preserve the sticky pad for final placement) and apparently get a usable signal, only to then just move the cable a bit to route it and it would negate the signal. Or just touching the cable would drastically change the signal strength. Returned it for a refund.

It worked for me + improve DAB+ radio signal
It really improved a DAB/DAB+ radio signal. At first it didn't seem to be any better. But for some reason I have 8 out of 8 bars on the hi-fi. So i wonder when i first tested it, the dab repeater was having problems or somewhere had plenty of fog, bad weather etc. Yes i would recommend, but look it really depends where you are, lower floor property and how far away you are from the dab repeater system.
