It's Helping My Gallbladder and Liver
I have gallstones, gallbladder polyps, and fatty liver. I'm recovering from a brain injury and can't handle surgery right now, so I've been experimenting with lots of natural treatment options.Lidan is one of the best supplements I've found for gallbladder pain, and trust me, I've tried a ton of them. I had a severe gallbladder attack about 10 days ago that made me horribly sick. I was up all night in excruciating pain, and nothing - I mean nothing - made it stop. Not apple cider vinegar, not OTC pain meds, and not my heating pad. In fact, heat just caused more spasming from the gallbladder/liver area.I bought Lidan out of desperation because I had lingering gallbladder pain after the bad episode I mentioned above. When I say lingering pain, I mean it hurt like hell 24/7 and I was ready to go to the hospital again. I'm sure the ER is sick of me by now, but whatever.Anyway, I experienced relief within 30 minutes of taking my first dose, which was 4 pills. I couldn't believe it, so I decided to stick with the Lidan and pause my other supplements. I wanted to make sure it was really the Lidan working and not something else. I paused everything else except my Magtein which I really need for my brain. It was definitely the Lidan! I started taking 4 capsules 3x a day, then bumped it up to 5 capsules after a few days. One week later, I'm still having some lingering pain/tightness in my right side, but it's manageable. My pain is like a 2 or 3 now, and it was an 8 or 9 before I started Lidan. Sometimes my pain even disappears completely for a few hours, which is rare for me. I've had a constant ache in my right side for nearly a year.I've added some foods that I couldn't tolerate before back into my diet just to see if I can handle them on Lidan (dairy, chocolate, nuts). I can now, but I don't want to push my luck. I've started removing them again because I feel a slight increase in pain (though still low, like a 4) when I eat bad food.By the way, there's research backing Lidan's benefits. I read a lot about Chinese medicine and why Lidan uses the herbs that it does. I'm not going to lie to you - the pills taste awful. I almost puked the first time I tried them. I don't care though - I'll deal with the taste since it helps my pain. Also, be prepared to pee constantly. Like all day long. Lidan has diuretic properties. It also seems to make me poop more, but now my poop looks normal instead of like someone who has gallbladder disease. TMI, but if you know, you know.My brain fog has also improved since starting this supplement, but it might just be a coincidence.I'm going to stick with Lidan for a few months and see what happens. I'll try to come back and update you guys if I end up needing my gallbladder removed and/or my pain returns.

product not the same as the photo
The featured product indicates yellow tablets indicating sugar coated. I don't mind because it makes the tablets easier to swallow. The packaging was different - no worries. BUT the tablets are brown & smelly. The Q&A indicates that brown tablets are older product. The ingredients seem to be the same; just not sugar coated; difficult for me to swallow. I'll find another source for future purchases. I feel as if this is bait & switch.

Has helped us.
My vet acupuncturist has had my dog on this for years. He is now 14.5. Age is catching up with him but I feel it's added to his quality of life.

I am giving this a 3 * as I am ...
I am giving this a 3 * as I am concerned that this product has corn syrup, talc and food coloring in the ingredient list. When did Chinese medicine ever have these harmful additives? too soon to see if they work well, but I will update.
