Public Places Urban Spaces: The Dimensions of Urban Design

I was hesitant to buy the book initially due to cost compared to other urban design titles. However it was definitely worthwhile on amount of content alone. It’s over 600 large pages with colour images almost every page. More importantly the content covers a wide range of urban design considerations in a clear and structured way. The examples are international so it’s definitely suitable for a worldwide audience. As an urban planner interested in widening my design knowledge it’s very good. I would recommend to built environment students and practitioners.

The 'environment' section is massively bigger than the earlier ed. Indeed, the book now amounts to over 600 pages and weighs over 2.5kg!
