Fixed one of the problems on a 944!
Worked as it should and had the right diagram on the side

Check your fuse panel for loose or stretched connectors
Great to have as a backup.My issue was not the DME relay though, it was the connectors the DME relay presses into.After removing the fuse panel, I completely stripped the fuse panel, cleaned and squeezed all the terminals then reassembled it and reinstalled it in the 944.With age and when testing circuits sometimes the connectors stretch and need to be squeezed back to original to obtain full contact again.Three years later and still no issues and no more electrical gremlins.
