I have been doing my nails with UV gel polish for over 2 years and this colour polish has been my favourite.The colour goes on beautifully with no streaks and is exactly the colour pictured. I have had the most success applying it in addition to both a base and top coat and two layers of colour. This for me personally has allowed for the colour to last a good two weeks with no chipping or fading (as long as I’m not living with my hands in the water for majority of my time). The colour dries well even without the top coat (though I personally recommend it for longevity). There is no tacky or stickiness after a good 30-60secs in the UV light and I love that!Great polish overall, I just ordered another colour and I can’t wait for it! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful colour, and stays on nails. It has been a week and not a single chip.

Very deep burgundy brown. Easy to apply and stays on well. Mine lasts for 2 weeks and still looks pretty good. Used in conjunction with blue sky base and top coat with lamp.

Really pleased with the BlueSky products. I used them years ago but went in search of something cheaper. I’ve never had a problem with depth of colour with these products, if it’s coming off streaky then your layers are too thick - I use 2 thin coats but for paler colours you may need 3 thin coats but THIN is the key word! Beautiful products, easy to apply and lasts well for 7 days without chipping 👍🏻

Pink is almost transparent. Nothing like pic atall I was so disappointed! Tried it out and its actually not too bad, done 3 coats and it will do but not as pink as the pic

I swapped to bluesky gels from bio sculpture. I was worried they wouldn’t be as good but was really surprised with their quality. They are easy to get hold of and far more reasonably priced. And quicker to apply.For my fingernails I use base coat, lexan gel, hard gel, and top coat along with a white gel for a French manicure finish. For my toes I only use base coat, coloured gel and top coat. I have used the gels directly onto my own nails as well as with nail tips and silk repair tape.I was worried at seeing comments of people’s nails getting hot but realise it’s because they haven’t followed the instructions. Different gels cure for different lengths of time and the website clearly states that nails will get hot if going over these times. The product pages have some information as well as the how to guides under the blog section.As others have said, thin layers are best. The coloured gels are very translucent initially but the second and third layers create a solid colour so don’t panic. The no wipe top gel is thick whereas the top gel which requires wiping is thinner so I’ll be sticking with that one.I haven’t had problems with the gels lifting or cracking on my fingernails. They seem to lift more so on my toenails but that’s often after a soak in the bath. I also know my technique isn’t as good on my toenails as the gels can sometimes run over the nail edge. Definitely something to work on!The only negative for me is that the coloured gels look completely different in reality versus online. I’ve started to mix them together to get the shades I want which isn’t ideal but is better than throwing them away.
