Bosch Cordless Combi Drill AdvancedImpact 18 (2x Batteries, 18 Volt System, in Carrying Case)

I purchased this drill in March 2020 and initially I was really pleased with it but after owning it for seven months I can give a genuine review. ITS NOT GOOD! first thing is the forward and reverse lever is easy to knock so you always have to double check it, ANNOYING! But I got in the habit of checking it. I then started noticing that it wouldn’t always work 🤔. After a quick flick of the direction lever it would be okay but this started happening more and more until the one day that I really needed it and it stopped working altogether 😤. I contacted Amazon and was told to send it to one of their approved repairers and that the postage would be refunded. So I sent my drill off for repair. 4 weeks later I get a message saying “your drills on it ways back to you” this was great news as I had a job to do and needed it. 24 hours later and parcelforce are at my front door, this is great........... except he’s holding a Bosch garden vacuum 🤔 WTF! After several phone calls it turns out that the repairers have sent my drill on its own adventure around the Uk and I’m never going to see it again! So I contact Amazon and informed them of what’s going on. They asked me to give them 72 hours to deal with this and I was happy with that. 72 hours later Amazon made the decision to refund me for the drill and my original postage costs and I was really great full. I’m now the proud owner of a Dewalt combo drill that is so much better than this drill. Well I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this and it helps you make your final decision.

Disappointed, bought this expected it to be brand new along side other Bosch tools from other retailers. All were sealed with labels on both sides. This item has clearly been opened as sealed were open, drill-bit that should not have been included was still in the drill itself! Instructions guides were folded in wrong place - clearly been opened up, highly likely used, not what I expect from a new product I have purchased

Liked - lightweight, feels comfortable, gets into really small spaces. Even though it’s lightweight it’s no problem drilling 6mm masonry bits into brick/lintels. Like the simple function selection screw/drill/hammer. I’m really surprised at battery life on a 2.5A battery lasting multiple uses decking, walls, flat pack over number of weeks.Not so sure - it feels like you probably can’t abuse it like my older dewalt. But the dewalt was very heavy and big.My review is based on relative light use after couple of weeks

Love, love, love it. Much lighter than my old one and with the 3 different “heads” and 2 batteries seemed a good deal. Took a bit of getting used to with electronic reverse, the removable chuck and screw/drill/hammer lever but now I don’t know how I did without it. There is a knack to removing the heads where you need to squeeze the head and the moveable band together and not just tug the band forward (& firing the head across the room🥴)The only other problem I have had is that, in a tight spot, I nudged the reverse button while drilling. (Just be more careful clumsy.)
