Best brush I have ever used. My cat used to get really bad matted fur even though I brushed her daily. I’ve tried multiple brushes and all had similar rubbish or average results, so I couldn’t understand why she kept getting mattes so bad that the groomer had to shave her in some areas. I tried this brush and it’s brilliant, she doesn’t get mattes anymore. It gets out so much hair you basically get a whole new cat 🤣. I also have less hair around my house now because the daily brushes are actually getting her hair out. 10/10 highly recommended.

teenager with a 2 year old long hair collie from cornwall. this product is an absolute godsend!!!!! i ordered it for bjorn because his coat is quite compacted and he has some matting on his butt and neck. (previous owners hadn't groomed him in awhile and we adopted him on emergency). the comb has two sides with different spacial gaps, super effective for different sized knots. the deshedding and dematting tool gets SO much out with just one brush that i found myself having to constantly take fur off of the tool. it's been so helpful. the comb is lightweight and easy for my hand to hold. the tool is a bit heavier but the grip is perfect and honestly it's still quite light itself. bjorn hasn't been too upset by me using them either aside from that he doesn't overly like grooming. for a dog that doesn't like grooming though, these proved to be acceptable to him 🤣. i think he'd give them a good review. the tool snags on big matts but that's to be expected, if you have a dog that's a wee bit uncomfortable with tugging during brushing, def keep that in mind. it's been possible to tolerate for my boy though. i suggest using a muzzle too for their comfort and ur own safety (ill do that when i give him a more thorough groom). the comb also snags a bit and it can get stuck in the fur easily when this happens so try to secure your pet from moving, if secured though extremely effective! the comb isnt too sharp at all. the tool itself can be a bit sharp if you feel the underside with your fingers (lol maybe don't do that like i did) but it didnt cut my skin or bjorn's. overall id say its very safe. extremely useful tool set if you know what you're doing with them! i have no regrets buying this and i can feel this is going to be extremely useful over the next decade. i have no idea how many times ive bigged up this product with the same words lol sorry if its repetitive! im just very happy with this. whoever designed this product should be proud. attached is an image of bjorn so you can see his fur length, and an image of the fur i got out from a 30 minute half groom (since he wouldn't let me see the other half of his body). i have also taken 2 photos of the tools for anyone interested in what they look like irl. 10/10! buy this for your pet! def research the correct methods of pet grooming beforehand though.

This is a review for the Candure Dematting Comb for Dog and Cat, Pet Grooming Rake and Brushes for Small & Medium Dogs 11+6 Double Sided Blade Deshedding Tool Removes Knots, Undercoat, Mats and Tangled Hair (Green) Our cat is getting on in years and has stated to find it difficult to maintain the normally high standard of grooming normally carried on daily. As a result we noticed that the fur, especially around the tail end, was become thickly matter and tangled and no about of brushing with the regular cat comb was making any difference, except annoying the cat even more than normal, so took a chance on this rake. On first impression it looks unlikely that this will do what it claims as the brush we were using has tines much closer together and was having no impact, so how the rake (it is a rake) with bigger gaps between tines would do anything seemed unlikely. Well, as soon as the rake went into the fur our doubts were blown away in a cloud of fur that seemed to come like magic from tight against the skin. Fur literally floated off the cat and we had to follow around picking it all up and putting into a bag and then vacuum there was so much fur and this from a cat that is brushed several times a week. The fur being removed is the deep base layer that sits against the skin and the cat would normally remove when grooming itself and produce the fur balls to rid itself of, but now our cat can't do this so the Candure rake is the answer. After just 3 or 4 daily comb throughs with this we could see the tangles which resemble dreadlocks were shrinking and now a few weeks on the cat is virtually free of them and the coat feel the best we have ever seen it. This Candure rake is far more effective at maintaining a good coat than any regular cat brush we have previously used. It is not cheap, but it is well worthy of 5*

This is the best brush I have used for my cat. He is 7.5 kg of half Bengal/half who knows what, with a thick double coat. He sheds a lot of hair. This brush is great for removing loose hairs. He loves being brushed with it and purrs the whole way through.

Brush itself is great but has fallen apart within 2 months

Bought for our springer who is a heavy shedder , tried multiple other tools and they either fell apart or just didn't get through her coat well enough . Bought this item and it's been. Great ever since, ends are not sharp so no worries of hurting your pooch , easy to grip and feels very solid in hand so not going to bend or break , the addition comb piece is a bit useless for the most part , not comfortable to grip and hard to use . But the main tool itself has been perfect .

My cat tolerated this product. She allowed my to use on her without running off. Found it easy to use, to be honest didn't use metal comb, it would be torture for my cat but the 'rake' was wonderful. Highly recommended
