Safari Ltd. Dracorex Hogwartsia Figurine - Detailed 7.75" Dinosaur Figure - Educational Toy for Boys, Girls, and Kids Age 3+

I bought this to turn it into a towel hook for our dinosaur-themed bathroom. My 11-year-old daughter (who doesn't even like dinosaurs) picked it because she's a Harry Potter fan and the dinosaur's name means "Dragon King from Hogwarts." When it arrived, she began playing with it and hasn't stopped. I'm going to have to find a different dino to turn into a towel hook because she won't give him back. He's beautifully sculpted and painted and I was a little reluctant to chop him into pieces because he's just so pretty, so maybe it was all meant to be.

Safari has made a first class dino. The skin texturing is great, the scale is reasonable, and they got brave with the coloring and pulled it off. The photo looks more outlandish, but it works when you see the actual toy. Safari Dracorex can stand with the most realistic replicas and not look out of place. My kiddo loves these partially because of the wondrous variety, and to really step out of the brown and grey safety zone was a good move on this model.Three stars for an excellent sculpt, one for replicating a lesser-known animal, and one more for making the beast even more fun and interesting with brave speculation on color.

Like all the safari ltd. toys over the past few years, the figure of dracorex shows a great deal of attention to detail and accuracy as isexhibited by current knowledge of the dinosaur. The paint scheme is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also shows the coloration of whatmight be a male in display colors. If you collect dinosaurs or have a child who is interested in them I would certainly by this one for them.

He is a great tiny dino. I love the coloring and his features. This is a wonderful addition to my collection. He will be a perfect educational item for me and my grandsons. We want to look up information about his life. I highly recommend both the toy and the company.

This was for my son and he does like it a lot. The problem I have with it is that for the money I expected more detail and for the toy to be able to stand up on its own. I have purchased other dinosaurs for less and they were better quality.

Questo Dracorex è stato regalato a mio figlio per Natale. E' letteralmente impazzito di gioia: il modellino è bellissimo, perfetto in ogni dettaglio, il materiale e i colori sono ottimi. E' solido e resistente, considerando che mio figlio ci gioca quasi tutti i giorni e se lo porta anche nella vasca da bagno, è come nuovo. Certo il prezzo è un po' alto, ma la qualità si paga.
