Q: My son is 1 year old n weighs 22lbs would this fit him ?

The Rubie's infant costumes like this one are measured a little bit differently. The size chart states that you want to measure your baby from Neck to Bottom and then pick the size according to that measurement. The size measurements are as follows for the 3 sizes it comes in:0-6 months: height (neck to bottom) up to 21" waist up to 21"6-12 Months: height (neck to bottom) up to 22" waist up to 22"12-18 months: height (neck to bottom) up to 24" waist up to 23"I personally feel the Lion Cub costume runs a little bit long. (<---this is my opinion as a mom and does not represent the company or manufacturer) I hope this is helpful!

VERY misleading. I'm going to get faux fur and try to sew it and make it look presentable.

My son is 7 months 20lbs and we just purchased the 6-12months. Fits good with a little wiggle room. His head is too big for the head piece but that's just due to him having a big head. By the time Halloween gets here he should fit well. We will just add additional length to the Velcro strap on the head piece. Hope this helps!
