Fleemy 16GB Digital Voice Activated Recorder Dictaphone HD with MP3 Hi-Fi Player Rechargeable

Battery lasts about 9 hours straight. I've recorded about 11 hours, and I'm only using a small portion of the available space, recording in mp3 format. The microphone is perfectly sensitive enough to capture every word from my college professors' lectures.

Unable to rewind or fast forward, purchased to record lectures in class but not having these options is an inconvenience.

I LOVE THIS RECORDER!!!! This recorder outperforms everything else in it price range. I'm shocked at how great the sound it, super easy to use, would buy again and again.

RECORDER WORKS AS SUGGESTED. NEVER WILL I MISS ANY INFORMATION OR CLASS LECTURE AGAIN.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I used a Dictaphone tape recorder for decades. As a CEO I would dictate emails, faxes, letters and speeches and my secretary would type them up for me. This little digital device just blows away that old technology. This is all solid state with 16 GIG of memory storage that can hold up to 17460 minutes of dictation using 128Kbps MP3 format or 34920 minutes at MP3 64Kbps. You can also set it up to record using Wav format for higher resolution but of course you will get less minutes of storage.The recorder is full of features and you can program it in multiple modes of operation you can even download your music onto it and use it as a MP3 player. The sound quality is very good. The recoding of my voice was accomplished well and the playback of my voice and my stored music was very good.My only two complaints are that using the menu and using the buttons to program the unit takes some time to learn. It seems that different buttons do different things depending which mode you are using like adjusting volume versus browsing through menus with the +/- button. In addition, when I used the record button, one time it took about 6 seconds before the recording started and at other times is took less than one second.This device is full of features:• Records your voice or music.• Plays your music that you can transfer from your computer using the supplied data cable. I listen to a lot of audio books and you could even put your audio books onto this device to listen to them.• It has a backlit color display that is easy to read. The nice display is a positive feature for this device.• It has a complete programing menu but this device may attempt to do too much as the programming can get to be a little complicated with so many features to consider.• It records in stereo.• It has a noise monitoring and reduction microphone• It has a built in watch that allows you to see the time• It saves the recording named for the year, date and time that the recording was made.• It has a good built in speaker.• You can adjust the volume, speed of playback, noise suppression, set tabs in the recording, skip songs or recordings• Power on/off with a lock setting where you have to hold the button on for 3 seconds before the unit will come on to prevent accidently starting the unit.• It offers programmable on times before it automatically shuts down to conserve battery power.• You can adjust the microphone sensitivity.• If has a calendar, stopwatch, alarm set up to wake you to a tone or with music and an auto record with a programmable start time and duration.What’s in the box?• The recorder itself that weighs only 3.25 ounces. I am extremely impressed with the device’s design and quality. It contains a rechargeable lithium battery that can be charged with any USB 5 VDC output charging source, including your computer’s USB port. The internal lithium battery is rated at 600 mAhs and it will operate the recorder for 12.5 to 24 hours depending on which of the operation modes you are using.• A USB to Micro USB charging and data cable that is one-meter-long or 39.37 inches. I transferred music files to the recorder and they played perfectly.• A telephone line adapter that you can use to record your phone conversations.• A 3.5 mm stereo cable that is used to connect the telephone adapter to the recorder audio input port.• A set of stereo headphones that allows you to listen privately to your voice recordings or to your music. Very good stereo playback.• A user manual that is pretty good but I hate that the text is small for my old eyes. It is not so easy to read.This is a very good recording device and I would have been happy with it when I was traveling the world or making presentations.
