Imperial Global 45mm Replacement SKS-7 Titanium Coated Rotary Cutter Blades, 10-Pack

First, let's be clear these are not 100% pure titanium blades, nor are they made of titanium alloy--if they were they'd be much more expensive. As I understand they are steel blades, but coated with a very hard and durable titanium-nitride coating (similar to the coating found on specialized drill bits). This isn't to detract from the product in any way but I don't want anyone being misled by the labeling.Regardless, I bought these for my wife to replace the standard steel blades she had been using. I was a bit hesitant based on some of the reviews but after several weeks of use she could not be happier!I've noticed she gets many more cuts out of a single blade before dulling, and they seem to stay much sharper for longer (going on ~6 wks of near daily use on the first blade). Additionally, I noticed with these blades she doesn't have to make multiple passes to cut all the way through--one pass on most of the fabrics she uses is enough to cut through without applying excessive pressure.All in all a great value. These blades are much sharper than standard uncoated steel blades and they maintain their edge for much longer. And if you have arthritis or knuckle joint pain you will appreciate that you don't have to apply excessive pressure like you do with most steel blades. We will be purchasing these from now on!

This is my second order of these wonderful cutting blades. They are superior to anything I have ever used! They cut cleanly and last a long time. One thing to watch, I inadvertently loaded two blades at once- that doesn't work very well!!!

These rotary cutter blades cut fabric really well. The rotary cutting blades that were available locally were frustrating because they kept skipping sections when cutting fabric strips. Decided to buy these and they work great for cutting through the fabric the first time. I generally sew cotton fabric, and these also worked well cutting through a layer of cotton fabric layered over a layer of pre-quilted fabric. Very happy with purchase.

All I can say is wow! I was a bit skeptical about the titanium coated blades I mostly purchased them because the price was right my 45 mm rotary cutter came with a blade but I wanted to have some extras for when I needed them. When I put one of these titanium blades on I was shocked as to how sharp they are I cut leather and in comparison to the blade that my rotary cutter came with these things cut the leather like a hot knife through butter highly recommended

I see I missed my "return window". I had ordered early so I'd have them when I needed them. Put the new bladed in and it was terrible, figured it was me, so reloaded it. Same bad edge. Tried 3 different blades, all bad. Bought a new blade uptown today, beautiful edge. It wasn't me or my cutter. I would diffidently be returning if I had just opened them sooner. Never buy againThis is my 3rd order, the last package made me wonder, but just thought it was me, just learning. Well, I learned, will spend the money locally. Just love Amazon's convenience. I live out in the sticks, so order and delivered w/o leaving home

Reviews were mixed on this item but I took the chance considering many said they were very sharp, etc.. The ones I got unfortunately were not in that category.. would not even cut 1 layer of fabric..

The price was right and they were definitely OK for the price, but they don't seem to last as long as the more expensive versions. Still better than the ordinary (not titanium) blades. I use them only on fabric.

Does not compare to Olfa blades which don't last long wither.. Would not buy again. Very disappointed

I bought these blades for my Olfa rotary cutter and what a difference they made. They are very sharp and cut fabric beautifully without leaving uncut strands still attached. They come in a handy plastic container which fits nicely into my sewing box. I can definitely recommend these blades. This is the first time I have used this seller but I can certainly recommend them. The blades arrived within a couple of days and were well packed. I will be back to buy more crafting products in the future.

Very pleased with my purchase of these blades, they are extremely efficient and so reasonably priced that I won't need to struggle on with less efficient but rather more expensive ones. They come in a small container so no danger of accidental injuries and also arrived very promptly. What more can I say? I use my cutting wheel regularly so when I have worked my way through this set of ten I will be back for some more. Brilliant!

The very first blade was fantastic, lasted aaaages and cut really well. I was lulled into a false sense of security as ALL the subsequent blades leave uncut threads which need snipping with scissors. After consulting Dr Google, I thought it must be the fault of my (elderly & much used) cutting board, so I bought a brand new one. Sadly it made no difference whatsoever in the cutting, unless I only cut through a single thickness at any one time:-( I shall stick to only genuine Olfa blades from now on.

I recently bought a 10 pack of these blades for my Rotary Olfa , after reading the reviews. I saw there were some favourable comments and some not so good but I took a chance. So far, over the last 2 days, I have used 2 blades, neither of which would always make a true cut after even a short time of using so I had to recut, sometimes more than twice. I have to say, I will never again make this mistake and will always stick to the genuine Olfa blades from now on.

I replaced two blades in two rotary cutters. 1 is perfect, the other is dreadful. But the perfect one makes up for it. I guess you get what you pay for. I have since changed both blades, and the replacements are dreadful. Both have a blunt spot on them - not bothering again - have ordered genuine olfa b;ades. Yes you get what you pay for

A few of the members of my local quilt group are currently testing these blades. We normally buy the top brand ones but, so far, these seem to be lasting as long as the more expensive option at a fraction of the cost.

I sew a lot of pieced patchwork, which means I do a lot of rotary cutting, these blades are sharp, cut cleanly and last longer than standard blades, I have purchase them again.

Good price but don't stay sharp long at all compared to more expensive ones so not necessarily such a bargaib

Cuts through fabric like butter. I was glad to get these because my other blades were just shredding the fabric but these cut smoothly through it. Would definitely buy again.

The last blades I bought for my Olfa Rotary Cutter didn't stay sharp for very long and were quite expensive. I have been using one of these blades and find it to be of really high quality and extremely sharp. I am well impressed and will be purchasing more form this Company in the future. The delivery was extremely fast too.

Bought these for my wife. She says they're excellent. What else...happy wife!

Found these to be of good quality and exactly the same size as olfa blades

First cut with a new blade I thought "ooh that's better, this won't take me long" then each cut got worse until this balde isn't cutting as the old one. I am very disappointed

No better than ordinary blades. They are supposed to be but I guess the old saying is right. You get what you pay for.
