I like the slide out magnifier particularly because it changes the lighting based on magnification distance/location. Mine came with batteries. I bought it/them for casual use after buying a tiny fossil. Works for my needs & was a good value.Not great for really young kids or stubborn adults who won’t heed the “don’t shine this very bright light directly in your eye” warning.

I liked the price, two for one is a good deal! My wife and I used these to checkout vintage jewelry, we pick up at estate sales, thrift stores, etc.

My husband uses these at work, he’s an ID checker and the lights/magnifying features are effect to get the job done!

Great for the price.

works but made horribly, sharp edges that can cut. The black metal cover that you have to flip the lens out of is stamped metal and the edges are so sharp. Also there are tons of knicks in the plastic part where the lenses are, I feel like I got one that should have been rejected. The second one with the plastic cover that slides out is great. I will return and look for a different brand though, I don't need to slice my finger on this.
