I live in an area where plastic grocery bags have been outlawed. I used to save mine from my trips to the supermarket and reuse them as trash bags, kitty-litter bags, etc. I saw these and decided to see if they would work.They do. They're an excellent size: approx. 5-6 gallons or so -- and fit most of my smaller trash cans. I also use them when I pick up mail (I let it accumulate in the box for 2-3 days). They're strong enough to hold quite a lot, and the handle ties make it easy to just toss them in the large trash can for pickup every 2 weeks.Will purchase again if needed.
