My puppy is in finicky mode when it comes to his meals - feeding my 1.5 year old puppy feels like torturing him. Often I have to pick him up and put him in front of his meals before he'd even try, he could just sit there without touching it. Sometimes he'd just fall asleep in front of his full bowl. Tried everything I could think of - from modest cost foods to very expensive premium food - no luck. Tried different canned foods, supplements, put treats, etc etc - still, no luck. I settled with giving him 'Taste of the Wild' salmon for its nutrition, along with Purina Pro Plan shredded chicken and goldmeal supplement - he'd eat part of the portion and leave it for his younger brother to finish it. Finally last week I got him this Life's Abundance canned food turkey and breakfast as topping on top of his dry food. My... my... what a huge difference it does make !! Without me calling him to come, he'd come right away. He'd just sit and wait for me preparing it with so much anticipation. His eyes lit up, his tails wag and he drooled. I am not kidding you - this is a puppy who used to see his meals as a torture ! He quickly cleans his bowl..... and goes to his brother's bowl to see if there are some left over. I am just happy that I don't even have to feel guilty feeding this to him - will definitely put him on this as long as he likes. I just wish there's free shipping on this.
