Good product, very useful
Easy to install and easy to use. The shower curtain can close, so no mess like you get with the slide across chairs that are half in and half out of the tub. Easily swivels to get in and out of tub. You do need some ability to pick up your legs to get over the side of the tub if using it alone. Bought it for my mom for after surgery, but she still uses it because it's much easier than stepping over. She also likes that when she swings out of the tub she can sit there and dry off easily. Had it for a few months and it's holding up fine, but if this one ever wears out I would definitely buy her another.Installation is simple, just sit unit on side of tub and tighten the bottom "clamp." Will fit pretty much any regular tub. Not sure if It would work with a tub that has rails on it for a sliding door.

Not for larger persons.
Seat won't latch if part of the patients body is touching it. So if patient is not a tiny person beware. We are going with a different seat.

I love it!
I have a knee injury on one leg and an SI joint issue on the other side. In an effort to try to heal and not keep re-injuring myself, I purchased this swivel bath seat and it has been fabulous! It's easy to install, extremely sturdy, and doesn't take up much space. The seat turns very smoothly, and the handle is very helpful. It can also be put on either side of the seat. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs this assistance getting in and out of a tub.

My 91yr old mother loves it. I have not ...
My 91yr old mother loves it. I have not yet remodeled my master bathroom, this was alot cheaper for mom to get in and out of tub. She can't bend her knees much. This makes it alot easier for her.

Surprisingly stable on the side of the tub
This seems to be a gem. I was skeptical about getting it because I was afraid it would be unstable on the side of the tub. It turns out to be very stable and fairly heavy duty. My bathtub is a particulary tall step and I'll be having hip surgery soon, so I wanted something to make it easier to get my leg over the edge of the tub without having to step up. Plus, my bathroom is a bit too tight for a transfer bench. This seat seems like it will work really well. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't had it long enough to rate its durability and long term performance, and while it seems steady, I don't think I would use it if I was more than 200 lbs or so. Nevertheless, based on an initial trial run, this is an awesome little seat.
