Love it! So pretty!-GLASS IS THICK-SCREWS ON BASE TIGHT with a sturdy connection.-PERCHES ARE GREAT. I have 3 other feeders that do not have the perches and the birds seem to favor the ones with perches on them.LARGE CAPACITY. This one will hold about 4 cups of nectar at a time. Which is great that I don't have to fill them up as often.... Especially when they really start feeding heavy.EASY TO CLEAN. I wash with warm water and mild dish soap and air dry.

This humming bird feeder is so gorgeous!!! I love the look of the design, but I also love how durable it is. The glass is thick so I think it would take a lot for it to break. In fact, mine has been through a hail storm already with hail an inch and a half in size. when I was searching for a hummingbird feeder I noticed reviews on others said that they leak, but I am very happy that this one does not leak at all and has given me no problems. Definitely would recommend. It would also make a beautiful gift.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was doing the review for this feeder and was getting ready to put it together and place it and I called it plastic in the video I think and turns out it is really thick glass, handblown it claimed. I can tell you that it seems near indestructible under normal use even if it should fall for some reason. The whole thing comes apart and the cleaning is easy compared to some of the others I have dealt with and it seems to be impervious to leaks.Bottom Line: Super strong, easy to clean, simple assembly and disassembly and a great value so 5 Stars it is from me

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The glass is nice and thick. I was happily surprised. The base is metal, I’m hoping it is made from a metal that is rust resistant as we live on the coat and everything rusts so quickly. So far I really like it.

Unfortunately the glass doesn't hold up well in windy areas. I haven't even had it a month and I have a crack in the glass going from the top to bottom. I would recommend this feeder for a covered patio that doesn't have a lot of wind. Besides the unsturdiness of the glass that would be the only down fall other then that it is a beautiful hummingbird feeder.

This is a very nice looking feeder but the birds dont seem to like it. I keep it clean, the feed is fresh, occasionally I will a bird at it but not to return. I have seen a total of 3 birds at my feeder. Guess its back to the bright red plastic one from Walmart, at least they liked it.

This is the second week I've had the "Balhvit Hummingbird Feeders for Outdoors, 32 Ounces Leak-Proof & Rust-Proof Hand Blown Glass Hummingbird Feeder, Easy to Clean & Fill Wild Bird FeederSold by: GIKEA". It had rust when I refilled it after the first 7 days it was up. The rust was on the hook it hangs from and on the metal part of the feeding station that has flowers riveted to it.As far as easy to clean- obviously there's a really narrow opening into the glass, so it's a little challenging to get that scrubbed. The rest is OK.Assembly was pretty obvious. Don't let the picture on the box fool you, though. LOL The ant moat is upside down in the picture on the box.(Meant to hold water to keep ants from crawling into the feeder for the syrup.)Construction: The Glass is heavy duty, but if you drop it, it will still probably break. The base of the feeder station is plastic, but fair quality. The metal portions are really cheap metal that rusts very quickly, even though they are seemingly painted or powder-coated. It would have been better if the metal feeding station portion was plastic. I'm pretty sure hummingbirds get botulism and die like people would if they don't get a tetanus shot and scrape their skin on rusty metal. The silicone gasket between the two part base is pretty effective at stopping leaks.Overall I gave it 3 stars due to it's not being rust-proof as described. I would have requested a replacement metal feeder station portion to clear-coat myself to prevent rust, but I was too late trying it out and missed the return window. Oops.

This is a gorgeous piece of garden art as well as a bird feeder! I live up north, so I can hardly wait to put this outside as soon as spring is here to stay. I’m so excited about watching the little hummingbirds gather to it!
