Village Tea Company Mobile Loose Leaf Tea Travel Mugs with Microstrainer - BPA Free, 8-Ounce

This is a wonderful mug. I wish there was more information posted about this product from the manufacturer. I was a bit skeptical because of the limited information. Don't be worried. I've had this for about two weeks now and have been using it daily. The product does not leak or get too warm to carry around even with really hot water in it. The strainer is the right size so tea leaves or particles will not choke you. You won't have to drink tea particles. One thing that I will clarify is that this item only comes with the mug (hence 4 stars). If you look on the manufacturer's website they have a video there of this mug with a pound of tea. When I first saw this I thought the pound of tea was included. Don't be fooled, it isn't.

Was ok - but the infuser is way at the top and it's open at the top. It's a glass, not a mug - it has a screw top so you can't really drink out of it.

This was a gift. It is of sturdy construction & it keeps the tea warm pretty well. Microstrainer sometimes traps bits of tea leaves, but this is expected. It has been used to add 'fruit infusions' to water also, by putting lemon slices in the basket.

This item breaks so fast and the metal on it get black and brown spots after watching it...Please buy another mug don't waist your money..

This absolutely keeps the loose leaf tea on one said of the strainer and never in the liquid you are drinking. It also doesn't make drinking slow. My only complaint is its single walled so sometimes it cools off too quick.

My daughter asked for this tea travel mug for her and her hubby for their birthday in January. They both love them and use it everyday.

t's pretty hard to brew tea when the strainer doesn't even sit in the water unless you overflow the bottom compartment. There is also no way to drink out of this "mobile" tea carrier without unscrewing the entire lid. Just more useless crap made in China. Oh and no returns accepted on this piece of junk so I'm just SOL.

Fair price and just what I wanted. The size is decent. The streamer is great. People keep asking me where I got it. I like the plastic container as I have already broken 3 glass ones (i am the clumsy careless type) and though it may not have the same heat retention properties, I appreciate it. It could use a thermal insulator removable jacket.
