The item was received without safety plastic covers, the only thing covering the jar was normal lid, but it is obvious that it was opened before and delivered like this. For sure this item is a return from a previous customer and instead of being destroyed, it was delivered to a new customer. This is such an expensive item and I was glad to find a product without chemicals.

I use this to help with my bones, including my nails...which get brittle if I don't use this. As a consequence of using this, after about a month, I noticed my hair was softer and less dry and brittle! I actually started taking it because it was recommended as Silica helps with forming collegen and therefore improving strength and elasticity of soft tissue etc. I have issues with varicose veins and bouts of Phlebitis (vein inflammation) and this has made a massive difference. I will be reordering.UPDATE: Four months in and I now would not be without this supplement. My hair is regrowing and thickening up. My once brittle nails (used to split) are now smooth and growing quickly. My skin is smoother and softer...like my skin used to be several yaers back! It has reduced general aches in my knees and lower back. I cannot recommend thos Organic Silica highly enough. Be consistent and patient...it works!
