I am truly excited for a product like this to finally be released. By trade, I am a licensed dentist and am constantly reminded of the negative effects of mints and candy items laced with sugar or other acids. Not to mention the effects that dry mouths can have on the oral health of people. This product solves a lot of issues that we are constantly struggling to battle in dentistry. The xylitol is a fantastic way to combat dry mouth. It's important to know that there is not any one product on the market that works perfectly for this problem, but I feel that the Fabtabs do just as well if not better than any other item I've tried from the pharmacy. I will definitely be recommending them daily for my patients with dry mouths. I also feel that the combination of Calcium and Phosphate could actually help to remineralize tooth structure that has been demineralized from acid or sugar exposure. This is just something that I feel COULD be a benefit as I have not used it long enough or had any feedback from patients to actually see this benefit. I like the idea of having this available for my children because it tastes as good as any candy they have but waaaaay healthier.

I don't usually write reviews. I ordered this product because our family has been looking for ways to get more Vitamin D in our diet. We did a bunch of research and this seems to be a great option. All natural, no sugar, low level of xylitol. Our kids love it, and so do my husband and I. We don't suffer from dry mouth or anything, but it definitely helps with that. Flavor - this stuff is like candy. If you like Sweet Tarts and that kind of candy, this is a great buy.

I decided to purchase this product because I have tested low on my vitamin D levels in the past, and my physician has recommended taking a supplement. The doctor encouraged choosing a sublingual spray or chewable (which this is) for better absorption. I know that vitamin D is also crucial for maintaining healthy teeth and bones, which is how this product is marketed. The fact that it has xylitol for added cavity protection is a novel idea. I'm honestly a little unclear about the role that inulin plays in oral health. Product pros: it has a pleasant taste with no aftertaste. It's a chewable tab, which helps to improve absorption. The price is decent. Cons: I think that this product is marketed inappropriately. It says on the bottle "like a mint... only better. Great between meals or anytime!". However, it is nothing like a mint, and should not be used in that way. It contains 100% of your RDV of vitamin D, which is a fat-soluble vitamin. That means you should really only take one per day, not pop them like mints. Because vitamin D is fat-soluble, it doesn't flush out of your body when you've had too much. It also claims to "freshen breath and moisten mouth." I also think that this is a bit misleading. The xylitol may help a little with this directly after taking it, but if this is what the buyer is purchasing this product for, I think that he/she would be better of just buying gum or mints. My third criticism is that this does not come in a child-proof bottle, but it tastes sweet like candy. This could lead to safety problems around small children. Overall however, I do like and recommend this product to be used as as it is intended: as a vitamin. Disclosure: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love taking prebiotics and vitamin d so to get them both in a really good flavored tab is nice. I ordered this for my 4 year old because I'm very concerned about the health of his teeth. Have you ever tried brushing the teeth of a very wild four year old? Then you know how hard it is to make sure their teeth are getting a good brushing. I'm happy to report that my very picky toddler loves these. I give him one, after meals or snacks, 2-3 times a day. A tablet you take to help with tooth decay? Why not.. These are super yummy and have my breathe smelling better than it already did :)... It's sugar free GMO free, gluten and dairy! Can't ask for anything better than that!I got this product at a great discount.

I just tried FabTab for the first time and they taste great! Imagine enjoying your favorite candy and knowing that you are actually improving the health of your teeth while you eat them! Plus they contain Vitamin D and inulin which is full of fiber and low in calories and Inulin is known to improve digestive health, promote healthy blood sugar levels, and boost the immune system! I like the way my breath feels fresh and my teeth feel clean after I have one! To bad all candy doesn't have all this going for it! I would definitely recommend FabTab to anyone!
